    Called to Walk by Grace | Peter McKenzie | 12-July-2026

    Looking at Ezekiel 36:27, Romans 7:4–6, Romans 8:3–4, and 1 Corinthians 15:10, we were encouraged to hold fast to the freedom we have in Christ. It is by grace—not the law—that we are able to endure trials, serve the Lord faithfully, and find rest in Him. Victory is not the absence of hardship, but having a heart that remains steadfast through it all - trusting in the grace of God to take us through.

    Disciple According to Christ | Leon Vismer | 05-July-2026

    Teaching from Matthew 28:18–20, Leon reminded us that we are called to be disciples of Jesus, not merely rely on humanism to better ourselves. Discipleship is about embracing what is on the Lord’s heart for us and following His example. From Matthew 16:24–25, we were challenged to look to Christ as the blueprint for discipleship. Just as He laid down His life for us, we too are called to lay down our lives for one another. The goal of discipleship is to become more like Christ.

    Compelled by the Love of Christ - Selby Mpofu - 7 June 2026

    Reading from Philippians 3:8–9 and 2 Corinthians 5:14–15, Selby challenged us with a question: what compels us? Paul declared that it was the love of Christ that compelled him, shaping the way he lived and served. From Luke 14:25–27 and Acts 20:24, we were reminded that following Jesus requires us to count the cost. Often, the greatest obstacle is not the world around us, but our love for ourselves. The call was to lay down our own lives for His sake, trusting that true life is found in Him alone.

    Follow Jesus on His Terms | Ronald Kwenda | 17 May 2026

    Ronald brought a strong encouragement to examine how we serve the Lord, warning us not to reduce our walk with God to routine or religion. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 5:14–15, he reminded us that we are called to live for Christ, compelled by His love and no longer for ourselves. From Matthew 16:24 and Galatians 2:20, we were challenged to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow the way of Jesus—because we cannot serve God on our own terms. The call was simple yet searching: to walk in the ways of Christ and remain faithful to Him.

    Putting our house in order | Selby Mpofu | 26-Apr-2026

    There was great joy as we welcomed Selby back from Zimbabwe, where he had been preparing the way for the upcoming CTMI Build Conference in September. Selby shared on the importance of keeping a pure heart. He reminded us that while many focus on outward things, God looks at the heart—and the state of our hearts determines the course of our lives. Only the gospel has the power to truly transform what lies within. This message was both convicting and encouraging, calling us to allow the Lord to search us, cleanse us, and keep our hearts tender before Him.     What is Your Life? | Selby Mpofu | 12-April-2026

    Drawing from Revelation 22:12–21, Selby reminded us that time is short and that Jesus is coming back soon. He encouraged us to live with an eternal perspective, finding our true joy not in earthly things but in knowing that our names are written in the Book of Life. Reflecting on the early church in Acts 20:24 and Acts 5:41, we were challenged by their boldness and joy, as nothing could stop them from speaking about Jesus, even in the face of opposition. He went on to emphasize that true freedom requires death. This led to a personal challenge: to examine where we stand with what the Lord has entrusted to us.

    Walk by the Spirit | Selby Mpofu | 29-Mar-2026

    Selby brought a strong encouragement as he shared on the ministry of the Spirit, reminding us of the contrast between the flesh and the Spirit (Galatians 5:13). He warned that while the works of the flesh are evident, those who live habitually according to the flesh will not inherit the Kingdom of God. True freedom is not found in legalism or in using grace as a license, but in liberty, a life led by the Spirit, where the Word is written on our hearts and Christ is formed within us. He went on to remind us that those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Drawing from Galatians 2:20 and Ephesians 4:20–24, we were encouraged to daily put off the old man and put on the new, allowing the Holy Spirit to work in us. As we deny ourselves, starve the flesh, and take up our cross, the life of Christ is revealed in us. The call was simple yet challenging: to walk by faith, repent where needed, and allow the Spirit to lead us into true freedom.

    Discern the Time| Selby Mpofu | 22-Mar-2026

    Selby brought a clear encouragement for us to grow in discernment, reminding us that we do not have time to live carelessly. Drawing from Luke, he challenged us with the question of why we can discern the weather, yet struggle to discern the times we are living in (Luke 12:56). There is a call for every believer to seek and understand the will of God. He reminded us that discernment is the mind of Christ at work in us, shaping our priorities and decisions. We were encouraged to return to the basics of our faith, by devoting yourself to the apostles teachings, continuing in fellowship, breaking bread and prayer. From Ecclesiastes 3:1–15, we were reminded that there is a time for everything, and that the Lord makes everything beautiful in His time.
