    Normal Videogame Show

Episode Notes: A most normal episode abounds with Paul, Maylee and an absent Tom. Our 2.5 intrepid heroes dive into the latest round of Microsoft’s cuts to their Xbox division. Is anyone safe? In a world where Halo Studios is no longer in charge of Halo, anything can happen. After escaping the despair of news it’s time to be normal again with the incredibly normal, Normal Golf Game by Brisbane local Luke ‘Regular’ Muscat @pgmuscat. Will the wibbly wobbly normality of this quirky golf game charm or frustrate? Suddenly the ghost of Tom arrives in an incredibly typical way to lay out their thoughts on the recent Resident Evil film by Zach Cregger. Does it live up to the existing film franchise? Or is it good? Listen to these words and more all contained within this normal episode! The Fluid Dynamics of Aging

This week on Zed Games Hazel is joined by Zahra and Natalia for a frenzy of gaming goodness. The team looks at the Nintendo Direct and take in the visuals for the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake (it's a lot) before admiring the LEGO PlayStation 1. Zahra then puzzles through a review for Locktale by Mina Pecheux and all its delightful ciphers and mysteries before building minimalistic civilisations in A Little Age by Benerot. Finally, Natalia and Zahra give a brief overview of the Brisbane games development scene, BrIGDA brings the industry connection to the games industry, Squiggly River for the artists, hobbyists, and beginners, Incubator Brisbane for the boardgame developers, and of course the amazing support from Screen Queensland as well as their amazing Games Residency Program cultivating all manner of games and developers. Legally Distinct Spinning Things

Episode Notes: Tonight our seasoned combatants Paul, Maylee and Brayden battle with small, spinning tops that bare no resemblance to Beyblades. We review the Australian, indie Beyblade-like ‘From the Top’ by JUNKFALL33 (@JunkFall33) and compare it to the Australian, indie Beyblade-like ‘Slayblade’ by Henry's House and Oscar (@moomoomang) and Rob (@BigEggAU). Which title will come out on top?! Give it a spin and find out. Not before we take a look at the week in #GamingNews as Gamescom overwhelms with content and GTA6 takes hold of the world collective eyeballs. We look back at some of Tim Curry’s greatest videogame contributions. To wrap it all up we celebrate taking notice of all the little details in life via sketbordcat’s(@sketbordcat) incredible horse magnification puzzle game ‘Horse Magnifier: The Full Horse’.
