A Treat for Lovers of Magic!
11/27/2024
Host Adrian Tennant has given a marvelous gift to the magic world: The Magic Book Podcast. Having listened to several episodes, I’ve been astonished by the thoughtful dialogue and inspiring discussions. Adrian, a gentle but well-prepared host (who can really ask for more?) has secured interviews with learned guests and elicits fascinating material from each. The inaugural episode features Julie Eng, a gracious, wise performer and publisher whose contributions to the art of magic are substantial and she may now be one of the most influential figures in magic. Episode 2 showcases Chris Wasshuber, founder of Lybrary.com, who reveals useful secrets about the site and insights into one the enduring mysteries in magic. And the third episode spotlights the accomplished magic historian Marco Pusterla, whose love of magic drove him to learn French and English simply to satisfy his love of magic books! Adrian’s genial conversations with each of these notables leads to insightful revelations and makes for delightful listening.
Wonderful Podcast

This is a terrific podcast. Adrian Tennant is the perfect interviewer. He asks thoughtful questions and then allows his guests to answer them. Too many podcast hosts seem to think that the podcast is about themselves. The want to have the final (Magic) Word. Adrian in confident enough to allow his guests do the talking. I’d also like to acknowledge his guest selection. I’ve listened to all of the podcasts, and his guests are uniformly interesting. I sincerely hope that Adrian continues this podcast for many years to come.
