What if you were always in survival mode?

A teenage boy finds out that his dad has been murdered in downtown Chicago. Coming into adulthood he finds himself in tumultuous relationships and soon the throes of addiction. “It’s not that I don’t want to get out of bed, it’s that I’m going to dread what comes next. I don’t have any intention of trying to shift my focus and when I do it feels like it’s more of a struggle. There’s no structure, no plan, I’m always in survival mode. Always thinking about the next move, the next step to get out of this funk. It’s been like this for years. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. There has to be somebody.” Today’s episode featured Mike Siam. Mike has a podcast called “Beyond The Mud” available on Apple and Spotify.
