    Episode 117 Wisdom That Protects Vision and Relationships

    Send us Fan Mail How do you move a vision forward when a decision may strain a relationship? A longtime volunteer resists a change. A trusted friend needs clearer expectations. Your team believes in the mission but cannot sustain the way the work is organized. These moments call for wisdom that attends to both the assignment and the people involved. In Episode 117 of The Evolution of Me Podcast, “Wisdom That Protects Vision and Relationships,” Rev. Melodie concludes September’s theme, Leading with Insight: Making God-Honoring Decisions Under Pressure. Drawing from James 3:17 and Acts 6:1–7, Melodie explores how spiritual wisdom becomes visible in the way leaders respond to concerns.     Episode 116 Avoiding Emotional Decision Making in Leadership

    Send us Fan Mail Have you ever wanted to resign after a painful meeting, send a sharp message after feeling dismissed, or accept an opportunity before understanding the commitment? Leadership brings moments of anger, hurt, fear, and excitement. How we respond in those moments can affect people and relationships long after the feeling has passed. In Episode 116 of The Evolution of Me Podcast, “Avoiding Emotional Decision Making in Leadership,” Rev. Melodie continues September’s theme, Leading with Insight: Making God-Honoring Decisions Under Pressure. This episode helps female Christian leaders acknowledge their emotions while making thoughtful decisions that reflect their faith, responsibilities, and values. Drawing from Nehemiah 5:6–7, Melodie explores a leader’s response to injustice: Nehemiah becomes angry, considers the matter, and confronts wrongdoing. Alongside James 1:19–20, this example offers a foundation for responding with care without dismissing legitimate concerns or avoiding necessary accountability. The episode offers a practical process: name the emotion, establish an appropriate pause, return to the facts and your leadership responsibility, seek honest counsel, and choose a response you can explain respectfully. It also addresses the importance of prompt protective action when someone faces immediate harm. Thoughtful leadership requires both care and a response suited to the situation. Yet you still wonder whether saying yes, saying no, staying, or moving forward will honor God. In Episode 115 of The Evolution of Me Podcast, “When Every Option Feels Right (or Wrong),” Rev. Melodie continues September’s theme, Leading with Insight: Making God-Honoring Decisions Under Pressure. This conversation helps female Christian leaders approach complicated decisions with spiritual maturity, practical clarity, and compassion for the weight they carry. Melodie explores what happens when outside distractions quiet down but uncertainty remains. Drawing on James 1:5, Philippians 1:9–10, and Proverbs 15:22, she considers how prayer, growing discernment, honest information, and trustworthy counsel can support wise leadership.     Episode 114 Discernment in Noisy Environments

    Send us Fan Mail Leadership becomes especially revealing when the environment is loud, the stakes are high, and the right decision is not immediately obvious. In Episode 114 of The Evolution of Me Podcast, Rev. Melodie opens the September theme, Leading with Insight: Making God-Honoring Decisions Under Pressure, with a timely teaching on Discernment in Noisy Environments. Female Christian leaders are often required to make consequential decisions while navigating deadlines, competing opinions, emotional exhaustion, past disappointments, ministry expectations, and the pressure to respond quickly. Yet the loudest voice is not always the wisest voice, the fastest answer is not always the right answer, and the most popular choice is not always the one that honors God. In this practical, faith-rooted episode, Rev. Melodie explains the difference between discernment, suspicion, overthinking, and fear. She shares five practices for wise decision-making: identifying the noise, creating a sacred pause, testing the voice and direction, separating genuine peace from temporary relief, and choosing the faithful next step without trying to control the entire outcome. Listeners will also learn the simple PAUSE framework: Pause before responding; Acknowledge every influence; Understand the facts; Seek God and wise counsel; and Execute the faithful next step. This framework is designed to help leaders respond with spiritual maturity, executive clarity, and courageous obedience—even when certainty is unavailable.     Episode 113 Multiplying Influence Through Service and Integrity

In Episode 113 of The Evolution of Me Podcast, Rev.
