This podcast was created to share my journey as a Samoan Pastor’s wife. Who was bullied, spoke about, which in turn made me depressed and insecure about being in my own skin. I let the circumstances of this world and the people around me dictate how I should be feeling! Now in my wiser (older) age I look back and wasted so many years on the nonsense, when I should have been looking to the one that created me! I should have disconnected myself from the noise that distracts me every day. I have a limited time here and I want to inspire, encourage and hopefully help 1 or 2 people bypass all this nonsense and live a purpose filled life for God!

    Walking in Grief

    Sharing how my son passed away maybe to help other parents that are going through this loss. It hard for me to share 7 years of the ups and down of my sons addiction in 11 minutes in a podcast. It therapeutic for me and I hope it helps a mother who feels the way I did. Scared for your child, blaming yourself, silently crying for them and praying for your child regardless of the age! Been away for 4 months but am ready to come back now and share about God, Culture and Us…coming back to the reason I started this podcast.

    Walking in the valley

    Been a tough season for me and I feel like am walking in this valley that at times gets me down! The struggle is real mentally, physically and emotionally. We always have that question in the back of our mind “WHY” we do not have the answers and I just want to yell at God. I think he would be ok with me telling him my disappointments, my anger and my grief. Like a good father he is faithful in his mercy, grace and love.

    My conversation with a YouTuber

    Last week or the week before I follow this You Tuber the name is That was epic. He goes around knocking on random doors and just pays their rents. Or he goes to colleges and gives cars or computers away. I give a few stories in this episode and I ended up putting a comment on his reel. All I said was “your an amazing human with a heart emoji.” I never thought about again until early morning 4am I woke up and saw my phone lite up like a message. I ended up being chosen to chat with him. I thought this maybe a scam of some sort, But what do I have to lose all I wanted to do is tell him God is using him in a mighty way even if he doesn’t realize it! After what seems to be a long conversation I told him that we are praying for him and his team! God uses ordinary people like him and others like him to spread and share God’s LOVE! I advised him if he ever needs to chat or needs a prayer all he has to do is message me. I do not think we will chat again but what an experience.

    Random thoughts of transitioning

    In the last few weeks of May I been busy with family, church and graduations. It was at on graduation party I thought to myself when did I transition from the young person helping and serving our elders to now being pushed to sit among the elders. I know that life is short but it baffled my mind as to when this happen. We all go through this but it didn’t hit me until that very first graduation party we went to and they told us to sit with the elders. We all go through different stages of life my mind is trying to catch up with my age!

    My Husband, My Inspiration

    It’s been a hot minute with so many circumstances going on in my life I wanted to share about the person in my life that inspires me. My husband, he’s always encourages me when I down and reminds me that God is faithful regardless. After my accident he take care of me, pushes me to keep going when I don’t want to. Am worried he is 73 and still wanting to preach and teach when other’s are retired me wants to keep going. He has no idea what an inspiration he is to me in my own walk with God!

    My 3 Pillars

    I was reminded by my coach of my 3 pillars of my why? It’s a good reminder number one- God number two- my culture and number three-US! Am getting back into the swing of things and refocusing on my purpose. When you face so many obstacles in a short time makes you refocus and even with a pause and reset God is forever faithful.

    Started my 2025 in the hospital after an accident I fell into the why me? Depression and anxiety are true emotions list to how my 2024 ended and 2025 started! I didn’t stop my podcast, but had a road block in my path. Am back and ready to share this journey. Stay tune family
