The Right To Remain Silent: A True Crime Podcast

The podcast brings great insight of the bravery of law enforcement officers. It takes a unique type of person to choose this line of profession. The episode S1 E11, brought tears to my eyes. Good to know the culture is making the shift “it’s okay to get and ask for help”. What brought me to this podcast was listening to the host Jim Weber, on FBI retired case file Episode 328. It’s hard to believe this soft spoken, well mannered host was the undercover agent that took down a violent criminal. He sounds like he would be afraid of a mouse.

some episodes are very honest and emotional - you get to feel the depth of the evils that has been committed and the depth of the darkness our law enforcement have to struggle with mentally - overall I wish the host who is obviously still new and feeling his way around - can learn to be more confident, precise, comfortable, so the interviews can moved along more smoothly and efficiently. with time I hope to see the host mature and really give his guests and their stories even better recognitions.
