It's not about color! It's about transparency, and the effective understanding and relatability that embraces culture and real life conversation over clinical jargon.Mental note: Scientific jargon is better understood and received by some, while colloquial expression is better understood and embraced by others; one-style-doesn't-fit-all. "hummMANs Are SomeThing Else: LiveLaugh-It-OfF!"

Send us Fan MailGenerations change. Patterns don’t always; they’re often reCYCLEd. From the Baby Boomers’ narcissistic religious hummm and “No, I didn’t... it wasn’t me” to the next generation’s growth and development through self-agency and autonomy, embracing change with an updated spiritual hummm, this episode uses a therapeutic platform/stage, humor, characterization, a spiritual relationship with God, and psychology to explore the cycles we inherit, repeat, and sometimes Laugh-It-Off!Support the show Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/conversayshons-wit-my-black-self-colloquialism-professionally-matters--7392767/support.

"Read Between The Lenses In Yo-Life!"

Send us Fan MailRoles are represented through different lenses throughout your life. When you take the time to sit back and reflect on them, you position yourself to read, understand, process, and learn what you failed to see, hear, and realize - not only about yourself, but about him, her, them, and all of y'all. That's what it means to Read Between the Lenses.Support the show Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/conversayshons-wit-my-black-self-colloquialism-professionally-matters--7392767/support.

    Mad? Triggered? Good. Here's Why.

Send us Fan MailIn this episode, we're talking about when and why those emotional reactions occur, why they matter, what they can reveal about us, and how to stop giving people so much control over our peace and our words. This isn't about pretending your feelings don't matter; it's about learning to manage them so you don't have to apologize for your reactions later. You may not like everything I have to say... and that's okay. Sit with it anyway. Sometimes, the very thing that irritates you the most is thumbing-you toward the very thing you need to address.Support the show Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/conversayshons-wit-my-black-self-colloquialism-professionally-matters--7392767/support.

Send us Fan MailWhen the nonsense starts stirring up another Bahahahahah-ttle in your mind… remember one important thing: The Bahahahahah-ttle is not YOUrs… it’s THEM!Bee Ess Wilson started it. Klepto Cleveland keeps stealing and reselling trouble. Big’Ole Baxter keeps biting off more than she can chew and feeding the drama. Crae Thomas keeps acting crazy and losing control. Cryyee Deville keeps boo-hoo-ing and flooding the stage with tears. But you? You’re the director, and with God, the GOAT, guiding your script... you already know who wins in every scene! Support the show Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/conversayshons-wit-my-black-self-colloquialism-professionally-matters--7392767/support.

    Wit YOUr "GoOD-Complaining" Self!

Send us Fan MailIs this You, too?Do you ever find yourself irritated, misunderstood, or quietly storing frustration while still trying to live disciplined, faithful, and intentional? In this episode of Wit YOUR “GoOD-Complaining” Self!, we unpack the practice of GOOD-COMPLAINING, a faith-anchored form of cognitive reframing that transforms irritation into insight and reaction into regulation. This isn’t about denial...it’s about governance! We explore what it means to “be angry and sin not,” to examine ourselves before assigning blame, and to interpret life’s bends without declaring them endings. If you’re learning to discipline your perspective, protect your peace, and let faith guide your frame, this conversation might be yours, too.Support the show Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/conversayshons-wit-my-black-self-colloquialism-professionally-matters--7392767/support.
