I’m committed to building brands that not only look exceptional, but operate with clarity, purpose, and measurable impact. Over the last decade, my branding and marketing work has helped clients achieve multi-million-dollar revenue growth, break fundraising records, and launch category redefining products. My approach blends research-driven strategy, creative innovation, and inclusive design.  Lastly, I've spent the past 7 years sharing my knowledge with the future of designers as an adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University.  Linkedinlinkedin.com/in/hruzsa-design-marketing In this episode, Hana shares her journey through design and entrepreneurship, including how saying yes to opportunities, trying new things, and staying open to possibility helped shape her career. She discusses finding your path, building a business, balancing work and family, and creating a life that leaves room for both professional success and personal fulfillment. Branding & DesignA strong brand is about much more than a logo. Hana discusses brand strategy, visual identity, color psychology, typography, and creating a cohesive brand that connects with an audience. Saying Yes to OpportunitiesYou don't always know what you'll enjoy or where an opportunity will lead until you try it. Hana talks about the importance of saying yes, experimenting, and allowing new experiences to shape your career. Entrepreneurship & Career GrowthBuilding a career doesn't always mean following a straight path. Hana shares lessons from her experience as a designer, entrepreneur, and educator and how different opportunities can lead you somewhere you never expected. RebrandingWhen is it time for a business to rebrand? Hana explains why businesses should think strategically about rebranding instead of simply changing their visual identity for the sake of following trends. Marketing & Brand CohesionFrom traditional marketing to social media and digital content, Hana discusses how businesses can create consistency across different platforms while still connecting authentically with their audience. Creativity & AIHana shares her perspective on using AI as a creative tool while maintaining the human thinking, strategy, and creativity that make design meaningful. Work, Family & LifeAs a working mom and entrepreneur, Hana talks about setting boundaries, making time for the people and things that matter, and creating a career that supports the life you want to live. Abundance MindsetHana discusses the idea of approaching life and business from a mindset of abundance, looking at possibilities, being willing to try, and recognizing that there are more paths available than we sometimes realize.

Her lived experience partnering with her nervous system to end chronic muscular pain while a board-certified massage therapist and educator, and then restoring her nervous system after severe burnout, created two things: a unique 25-year expertise in body-mind resilience and a passion to empower others to partner with theirs. Kinessage LLC supports performance- and culture-conscious organizations with resilience strategy and root-solution body-mind resilience programs that reduce stress, chronic tension, and pain, while increasing mental resilience and long-term health for greater overall well-being and sustainable success. https://www.linkedin.com/in/kathleengramzay/www.kathleengramzay.com In addition to working with organizational leader teams, Kathleen facilitates Applied Resilience cohorts for women leaders and professionals. Chronic Stress Chronic stress affects every single area of your life. It causes mental and physical distress and can lead to illness. Investigating Behaviors Find out why something is difficult for you or why you keep avoiding it. What happened in your past that made your body want to avoid that thing or activity? Trauma comes in all shapes and sizes. It’s your body trying to protect you from getting harmed again. Movement Short movement breaks throughout your day are a simple and effective way to relieve stress. Your body needs different kinds of sensory input. Take a break from your screen to give your brain other kinds of information to process. Building Resilience You’re never too young or old to learn how to regulate your nervous system. Improving nervous system regulation improves overall wellness. Reward yourself when you do something you’ve been avoiding or struggling with. Having a reward system helps rewire the nervous system to be okay with the activity. Baby steps: do the difficult thing a little bit at a time. You don’t need to do it all right away. Holding yourself in moments of distress can be helpful if you don’t have anyone else to hold you. It’s still calming when it’s your own hands and arms holding you. Relationships Don’t expect your partner to read your mind. Be clear when asking them to do something to avoid stress. Sometimes what you want from a partner is projection. Investigate if it’s really something you want them to do or if it’s something you know you should be doing. When you step up, your partner will likely be inspired to follow your lead. How To Be Vulnerable & Write Your First Book | Anne McAuley Lopez

Anne McAuley Lopez is a content writer, nonfiction book coach, and ghostwriter based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She launched Agency Content Writer in Mesa, Arizona, in 2010 after leaving corporate America and has spent 15 years helping entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and thought leaders tell their stories through blog content, websites, and books. Anne is the author of We Don't Get to Ring the Bell: My CML Story, a memoir about living with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. She has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, Bold Journey Magazine, and on The Nonprofit Show. She volunteers with Blood Cancer United and has raised more than $65,000 for blood cancer research and awareness. Writing a Book - Start with the foundation of your book. - Why do you want to write the book? Who is your audience? What is the goal of the book? - Break the process into manageable pieces. Why You Need a Blog - Having a blog is essential for good SEO. - A blog tells search engines what your business is about. - The frequency of blog posts should depend on your strategy. For general maintenance, aim for about 2 posts a month. If your services have changed and you're trying to reach a new audience, then writing 2 times a week about your new services for 3 months would be the way to go. - When hiring someone to write your blog, make sure they have experience writing for your industry. Asking for Help - Don't be afraid to ask for help when doing difficult things. You don't win anything by making your life harder than it has to be. - Find good partners and be willing to learn from them. - Know your business and your goals. If you cannot clearly communicate what you need, then the person you hire is not going to be able to succeed. Books as Business Cards - Books make great business cards. - Your book is your story—it's vulnerable. That vulnerability pays off in spades. It gives your audience the opportunity to connect with you. That builds trust and makes them more interested in your products or services. Support & Community - Find a writing group to join. Surround yourself with people who are trying to achieve a similar goal to keep you motivated, engaged, and inspired. - Step into the fear, not away from it.
