It's Time To Pivot: Embracing the Season God Is Calling You Into

Sometimes the next season doesn't require you to start over. It requires you to change your posture. Inspired by a recent women's conference and the story of Hannah, this episode with Dr. Niesha, is about recognizing when God is calling you to shift, grow, and position yourself for what's next. Dr. Niesha talks about embracing transition, expanding your network and net worth, investing in yourself, protecting your peace, creating intentional boundaries, and understanding that everyone you love may not be assigned to the same space in your next season. It's also a reminder that your testimony has purpose. Your story, your voice, and the wisdom you've gained may be exactly what someone else needs, but you have to be willing to position yourself for the assignment. In this season of your life, make room for growth, new opportunities, healthy relationships, joy, peace, and everything God is calling you toward. You don't need to have the entire journey figured out. You just need the courage to make your next intentional move. It's time to pivot! Thank you again for tuning in. Imposter Syndrome: When Everyone Believes in You Except You

Have you ever walked into a room knowing you were qualified to be there…yet still wondered if you truly belonged? You have the degree. The credentials. The experience. The accomplishments. Other people see your ability, but somehow, you still question yourself. In this episode Dr. Niesha sits down with a fellow therapist, psychologist, Dr. Ana Mena, for an honest and relatable conversation about imposter syndrome and the self-doubt that can exist even when there is plenty of evidence that you are capable. Dr. Mena shares her own personal experience with imposter syndrome, including what it looked like in her professional life, how it affected the way she viewed herself, and what helped her begin to work through it. Together, they explore why imposter syndrome can show up in high achievers and helping professionals, the connection between perfectionism and self-doubt, the pressure to always know the answer, comparison and social media, and why achieving more doesn't always make the feeling of "not being enough" disappear. You don't have to minimize yourself to remain humble. You don't have to be perfect to be qualified. And you don't have to wait until the self-doubt disappears before you take your seat at the table. You earned your seat. Now give yourself permission to sit in it. If this conversation resonates with you, share it with someone who may need the reminder that they are more capable than their self-doubt has allowed them to believe. Also follow Dr. Niesha and Dr. Mena on Instagram or Facebook. Remember... your story may explain you, but it never has the final word. Thank you again for tuning in. Who Are You When You Have Nothing to Prove?

What happens when your identity becomes tied to being successful, strong, dependable, productive, or the person everyone needs? In this episode, Dr. Niesha explores a side of self-worth from a different perspective: the difference between knowing your worth and constantly trying to prove your worth. Sometimes the qualities we're most proud of, independence, ambition, resilience, achievement, and being "the strong one" developed during seasons when we needed them to survive. But what happens when you no longer know how to turn them off? This honest conversation explores self-worth, validation, people pleasing, high achievement, emotional healing, boundaries, and the pressure to always have it together. Dr. Niesha discusses why being needed can sometimes feel like being valued, why accomplishments can't permanently answer questions about our worth, and why we don't have to turn every painful experience into an impressive transformation story. So tune it and see what this conversation is about. So here's the question we're sitting with today: Who are you when you have nothing to prove? Mental Health Isn't a One-Month Commitment — It's a Lifelong One

Mental health is more than a conversation for one month out of the year; it's a lifelong commitment to caring for ourselves with honesty, compassion, and intention. In this episode, Dr. Niesha dives deeper than awareness and talking about the realities of mental health, emotional wellness, healing, therapy, and the challenges so many people silently carry every day. She unpacks the difference between mental health, emotional health, and mental illness while addressing the myths and cultural stigmas that often prevent people from seeking support and prioritizing their well-being. Dr. Niesha also explores the emotional impact of social media, the pressure to constantly "hold it together," and the important difference between surviving life and truly healing from what has hurt us. This conversation is a reminder that experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, burnout, or emotional exhaustion does not define who you are. Your struggles are experiences, not your identity. If you've ever felt overwhelmed, emotionally drained, stuck in survival mode, or afraid to ask for help, this episode is for you. Because healing is not weakness. Rest is not failure. And taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of everything else that matters. You matter. Period! Thank you again for tuning in and following this podcast.
