    The Haunted Prison That Held the Real Peaky Blinders

    Steelhouse Lane Lockup in Birmingham served as a police custody building for over a century, imprisoning criminals like the real Peaky Blinders gang members awaiting their court date, and the justice that followed. But even before it closed in 2016 and subsequently reopened as a museum for West Midlands Police, people have seen strange things that they couldn’t explain, and heard noises echoing where they shouldn’t.
