Stop Substituting Online Content for Real Faith

#CalebThomas #WhatsFeedingYou #ChristianContent What is feeding you spiritually? In this powerful and timely message, Pastor Caleb challenges us to examine our spiritual diets. In a world filled with endless online resources, it is easier than ever to get high-quality Christian content at our fingertips. But there is a massive difference between a supplement and a substitute. Drawing on a gym analogy from his youth, Pastor Caleb explains that while physical supplements make good nutrition better, they can never substitute for a real, healthy diet. In the same way, podcasts, worship playlists, and social media posts are wonderful supplements—but y our digital "feed" was never designed to properly feed your soul. To live a truly thriving, Christlike life, the Bible shows us that we need more than a digital screen: 1. We need a Local Church (Not Just a Feed) * An online audience does not equal community, online engagement does not equal fellowship, and going viral does not mean you are truly known. We were saved to belong to a local community where we can encourage, support, and look out for one another. 2. We need a Pastor (Not Just a Speaker) * An online voice can inform you, but your pastor is called to help form you. Pastors are a gift given to the church to equip, protect, nurture, and guide you so that you can live like Jesus from Monday to Saturday, not just on Sundays. We must invite real, loving accountability into our lives to grow. 3. We need an Encounter (Not Just Entertainment) * It is easy to treat worship and sermons as entertainment, asking ourselves, "Did I like it?". But a true encounter with God asks, "Am I changed by it?". Content about God can excite you, but only a genuine encounter with God will completely transform you. Stop settling for online crumbs. It’s time to step into the full, abundant spiritual diet God has designed for you. 📖 SCRIPTURES REFERENCED IN THIS MESSAGE: * Hebrews 10:24-25 – Do not neglect meeting together. * Acts 2 – The four markers of the early church. * 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, 27 – We are all parts of one body. * Ephesians 4:12 – Equipping God's people for His work. * 2 Corinthians 3:18 – Transformed by the glory of the Lord. * Psalm 34:8 – Taste and see that the Lord is good. ------------------------------------ Free Life Chapel is here to help others discover and live the Free Life in Christ! How to Stop Treating God Like a Genie (And Start Talking)

#CanWeTalk #Prayer #CalebThomas Do you ever feel like you have to say the "perfect" words for God to hear you? In this powerful and liberating message, "Can We Talk?", Pastor Caleb Thomas challenges the performance-driven pressure we often bring to our prayer lives. So many of us have turned prayer into a polished ritual or a drive-through monologue when what God truly desires is an intimate, raw relationship. The life-changing truth is this: The power of prayer has never been in the eloquence of the words we say, but in the goodness of the One we are praying to. Through this message, you will discover: * Why God Welcomes "Messy" Prayers: Just like a loving parent understands their toddler's broken sentences, your heavenly Father understands your heart, even when you can't find the right words. * The Power of "Our Father": Why Jesus introduced God not as a distant, dominant force, but as a close protector, nurturer, and dad. * Your Direct Access: How Jesus tearing the temple curtain destroyed the distance between us and God, giving you permanent, judgment-free availability to talk to Him directly. * A Lifeline, Not an Accessory: How to transition your prayer life into something relational, intentional, and continual. If you are ready to stop performing, break down the walls of distraction, and start talking to the Father who is eagerly leaning in to listen to you, this message is for you. ----------------------------------- Free Life Chapel is here to help others discover and live the Free Life in Christ! The Secret Battle: Healing What You’ve Been Hiding

#Naaman #Healing #ScottThomas In this final installment of the "Gospel of Naaman" series, we explore the life-changing power of surrendering your strength to a purpose bigger than yourself. Just like a wild horse that is majestic but "useless" until it stops fighting its partner, we are called to move beyond running in circles and enter into a covenant relationship with God. What you will discover in this video: * The Battle Beneath the Armor: Naaman was a decorated military commander succeeding publicly while dying privately from leprosy. We dive into why we must stop hiding our "issues" behind our success and allow God to heal what we’ve been covering up. * The Significance of the Seventh Dip: Why did Elisha insist on seven dips? In Hebrew, the number seven (shva) represents covenant—an unbreakable commitment where God’s faithfulness is always leveraged on your side. * From Healing to Adoption: God didn't just want to fix Naaman’s skin; He wanted to bring a "pagan" general into His family. Discover how surrendering to the "seventh dip" turns a miracle into a rebirth. * Being a "Hope Dealer" in Hard Places: Naaman had to return to a godless environment in Syria, but he went back with a testimony that no one could take away. Learn how your life can become a light in the midst of a "crooked and perverse generation”. Key Quote: "Falling happens to everybody. But when you're in a relationship with the heavenly Father... He's the one who keeps picking you and I back up again. If you're only down, you fall. But it's when you get back up that it turns a fall into a dip". Don't quit at dip number six. Your breakthrough, your healing, and your new identity are waiting at number seven. --------------------------------- Free Life Chapel is here to help others discover and live the Free Life in Christ! Why Your Pride is Blocking Your Miracle

#Naaman #ScottThomas #HandelingPride Fine Dining Results, Fast Food Effort: Breaking the Drive-Thru Miracle Mindset Are you waiting for a "deluxe, life-altering miracle" but demanding it be delivered in 90 seconds at a drive-thru window? In this message, we dive into the story of Naaman, a high-ranking commander who had a thick resume but a fatal secret: leprosy. While Naaman sought a "bougie breakthrough" that fit his status and image, God required something much more difficult—the death of his pride. In this video, you will discover: * The Drive-Thru Delusion: Why we often expect God to bend His "fine dining" results to our "fast food" effort. * The Real Disease: How pride can be more lethal than the physical "leprosy" we are trying to get healed. * The Jordan River Metaphor: Why God often uses the "muddy" and unimpressive areas of our lives to drown our ego and image. * Don't Stop at Six: The difference between partial obedience (the number of the flesh) and the total surrender of the seventh dip. God doesn’t just want to stop the "disease" in your life; He wants to restore what was eaten away and cleanse your reputation so that you can become a "billboard of hope" for His glory. Stop trying to negotiate the terms of your miracle and learn how to finally do it God's way. ------------------------------------------------- Free Life Chapel is here to help others discover and live the Free Life in Christ! The Secret That Is Eating You Alive

#ScottThomas #TheGospelOfNaaman #BeyondTheHighlightReel In this powerful kickoff to the series "The Gospel of Naaman," Pastor Scott Thomas returns to the Free Life Chapel stage to explore the life of a man who seemingly had it all, but was secretly falling apart. Drawing from 2 Kings 5, we meet Naaman: a great commander, a hero of war, and a man highly favored by his king. On the outside, his "highlight reel" was flawless. "But he was a leper." This one detail shifted everything, turning his "steak into a stank" and threatening to consume his life from the inside out. Pastor Scott challenges us to look beneath our own armor. In 2026, we have become experts at hiding our "flesh issues"—addiction, pride, anger, and secret pain—under titles, successes, and social media filters. But as Naaman discovered, success cannot cure a soul-level disease; only a miracle can. Key Takeaways: 1. Your wound does not erase your worth. Having a struggle doesn't mean God is done with you; it just means you’re human. 2. What you are trying to hide, grace wants to heal. God isn't looking to expose you; He is looking to restore you. 3. God has already placed hope within your reach. Your trouble will never outrun God’s grace. It’s time to stop pretending and start living. Join us for Part 1 of this life-changing story and learn how to exchange your hiding for healing. ---------------------------------------------- Free Life Chapel is here to help others discover and live the Free Life in Christ! How To Find Friends Who Push You Towards God

#Influencers #Friendships #CalebThomas In this powerful message, Pastor Caleb Thomas explores how the quality of your life is determined by the quality of your relationships. He emphasizes the critical distinction between proximity and permission, noting that while we cannot always choose who is around us, we must be intentional about who we give permission to influence our hearts and decisions. Pastor Caleb breaks down three categories of people we often encounter: * The Hype Man/Girl: Those who celebrate you even when you're headed for a crash because they don't love you enough to tell you to stop. * The Manipulator: Those who remain in the relationship only as long as it benefits them. * The True Friend: Those who are proud of you but not "impressed" by you, meaning they love you enough to call you out when you are living outside of God's word. Drawing from Exodus 17, the message highlights how even a leader like Moses could not win his battles alone. He needed a Joshua on the front lines and an Aaron and Hur to support his arms when he grew weary. Using this biblical framework, Pastor Caleb challenges us to vet our inner circles and find faith-filled friends who do three things: push you towards God, strengthen you in God, and give God all the glory. ------------------------------------------ Free Life Chapel is here to help others discover and live the Free Life in Christ!
