When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers

Some quotes from this Episode ... You know, I had an opportunity to speak at a 911 ceremony, I knew she needed what I had, you know, not Aaron, but the spirit of God. When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles ---------------- This Is The Day! - Encouragement in Jesus Christ! We bring hope and encouragement, and only because He is real, and He loves you! He died not because we were sinners (although that is true and necessary!), but because we were lost daughters and sons! You have value in His eyes! What He wants from us is that we come alone to Him, for fellowship with Him, in submission, so that He can re-make us into the person He created us to be! He wants us to then go out among people and live a life that attracts others to Jesus (don't worry, you get Help with this!) What a journey! What a life! This isn't a self-help method, it isn't a prosperity gospel, it is Christ in you, the hope of Glory! What a ride! What liberation! Try out what He said, participate with Him, and you'll be surprised!

Note - this podcast is late, Larry was hospitalized, and is now cheerfully processing  these from his hospital room.  Why? Because even hospitalized, the enthusiasm is still real and it still bubbles up and must be told! Quote from DL Moody: "All the Gospel needs is to be told."            Some quotes from this Episode ... This encouragement just kind of has to go somewhere, so we're going to give it to you. Are we done with the baconator? That was it?    Yeah, yeah.       You had me there.   I was kind of wondering about where we were going. And that's just not a fear like scared. This is like reverent fear. I want to honor him.  I want to give back to him. Fear the Lord, you Godly people. You said taste and see that the Lord is good.    Now, obviously, that's not literal taste of Him, but what does it mean?  It means that try out what He said, participate with Him, and you'll be surprised.---------------- This Is The Day! - Encouragement in Jesus Christ! Conduct yourself in a manner worthy of the Good News about Jesus.

Some quotes from this Episode ... Think of an army like the Red Coats. They're all in line. They're all marching in order, they all are listening for their commanding officer. And this is what Paul says in Philippians one, verse 27. Live as a Citizen of Heaven. Above all, you must live as a citizen of heaven. Conduct yourself in a manner worthy of the Good News about Jesus. ---------------- This Is The Day! - Encouragement in Jesus Christ! If you want to know how to live, study Christ.

Some quotes from this Episode ... At the heading in the direction it says, sign your name and nothing else, pretend that you are doing the test, and then halfway through the time, I want you to flip it over. I was the only one that read it. This is the only time I got 100 on a test and no one else did. All scripture is inspired by God, and it's useful to teach us what is true. Jesus, the 2nd person of the Trinity. Jesus is the very expression of God to us. If you want to know how to live, study Christ. ---------------- This Is The Day! - Encouragement in Jesus Christ! I can't come up with patience. It's given to me as a gift.

Some quotes from this Episode ... Do you know where the salt comes from? The Port of Albany (a central location for road-salt distribution) It was the Dutch Apple Cruise in Albany Salt: preservative, flavor, healing, melting ice on roads … I can't come up with patience.  It's given to me as a gift. ---------------- This Is The Day! - Encouragement in Jesus Christ! Your tears on the pages of your Bible ...

Some quotes from this Episode ... We are happy warriors. I got so much out of that Bible study last night just because the Lord was present. In Acts, it was such great outpouring of God's spirit. And then the church grew, and then what happened? Persecution came. They scattered. But the difficulty was part of the plan. You will never understand the Scriptures but when you cry over Scriptures, and you come back and see the spots of your tears.  ---------------- This Is The Day! - Encouragement in Jesus Christ! The Book of God, the Bible, does its own speaking

Some quotes from this Episode ... Generally, what I have found is that the Book of God, the Bible, does its own speaking. We see how hard it is to live righteously, but He did it, and He did it with a purpose in mind that you and I could stand in a Holy Place. They don't go along with the guideline that says, "I am the Lord your God, you'll have no other gods before Me." And that is the most beautiful thing you could do, is give yourself something and allow yourself to be changed because of your love for that thing. ---------------- This Is The Day! - Encouragement in Jesus Christ! Jesus on the Cross - Jesus allowed Himself to be there.

Some quotes from this Episode of "Harvest Shorts" ... Meek is not weak. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Meekness is not lacking power, but it's having power and choosing not to use it for retaliation or our own gain. Jesus on the Cross - Jesus allowed Himself to be there. Psalm 37 says, do not fret. Do not envy, don't get angry at the success of the evildoers in this world, because their success is fleeting, like fading grass. ---------------- Welcome to "Harvest Shorts", a five minute offering to you, on one topic. You find the Lord in your foxhole.

Some quotes from this Episode ... September 11th, "911".    It's been a tough day for a lot of people over the last 25 years. I was a flight attendant at the time. I was in Newark, New Jersey, right outside New York City. I could see the first Tower on fire. And then we see the other plane come and hit. You find the Lord in the foxhole. Jesus  said, 'If you remain in Me, do the things I've called you to do and I will remain in you." ---------------- This Is The Day! - Encouragement in Jesus Christ! I want you to see yourself as a container of the Holy Spirit!

Some quotes from this Episode ... The Lord has given us a DAY! What are you going to do with it? You are treasure! You are a treasure to God. Paul and the Disciples:tThey were slagging along in a place that didn't want to hear about Jesus, but the people needed it. Whatever it is you're going through, I want you to think of yourself as having a TREASURE inside of you. If you've confessed with your mouth and you believe that Jesus Christ came and died for you and took your sin, there was a great awakening in you! I want you to see yourself as a container of the Holy Spirit! ---------------- This Is The Day! - Encouragement in Jesus Christ!
