Sailor Moon’s Cosmic Power Rewind

Sailor Moon’s Cosmic Power Rewind is our Sailor Moon rewatch podcast, where Matt and Maggie revisit the original 90s anime one episode (and movie) at a time. From Usagi’s first transformation to the final adventures of the Sailor Guardians, we’re going back to see what still holds up, what surprises us, and what we might have missed the first time around. Each week, we break down the story, talk through the characters and their friendships, compare the original Japanese episodes with the English dubs, explore manga connections, hunt for Easter eggs, and rank the Creep of the Week. Expect plenty of nostalgia, laughs, unexpected tangents, and some wonderfully strange DiC dub moments along the way. We’re a married couple who love 90s and 00s pop culture, anime, and geeking out over the stuff we grew up with. Whether you remember watching Serena and the Sailor Scouts on Toonami, discovered Usagi and the Sailor Guardians years later, or you’re experiencing Sailor Moon for the first time, grab your transformation pen and come along for the adventure. Sailor Moon’s Cosmic Power Rewind is part of Hopefully Awesome, where we keep things positive, have fun, and celebrate the stuff we love.
