Boots Ennis Raises MORE Questions? | Teofimo Lopez Gets ANOTHER Title Shot | Abdullah Mason UPSET?

We kick things off by congratulating Quinton Randall on earning his 17th pro victory after scoring a fourth-round TKO in front of his hometown crowd in Houston. Quinton breaks down the performance, what he felt in the ring, and why he believes there’s still another level to his game. Then we dive into one of the biggest fights of the year as Boots Ennis vs. Xander Zayas delivered everything fans wanted. Boots scored an early knockdown, Zayas fired back and rocked him in Round 3, and from there Boots showed that Philly toughness by biting down on his mouthpiece and turning the fight into a war. We break down what changed, whether Boots really just “got lazy” like he claimed after the fight, and what this performance says about him as the new unified 154-pound champion.  We also cover the entire undercard, highlighting who impressed us, who missed their opportunity, and the prospects you should be paying attention to.After that, we react to Vergil Ortiz Jr. calling out both Boots and Xander after the fight. Would Ortiz actually be Boots’ toughest matchup? Could Boots handle Vergil’s pressure, or is Ortiz the one fighter who can expose him? We also discuss how Sebastian Fundora fits into the championship picture and which fight makes the most sense next.  From there we look at Josh Kelly’s mandatory title defense and map out the current landscape at 154 pounds to see when boxing’s biggest names could realistically meet.We also discuss Oleksandr Usyk giving up the WBC heavyweight title, which led to Agit Kabayel being elevated to full champion. Did Usyk avoid Kabayel, or is there more to the story? We then break down Joe Cordina’s legal issues and how they cost him a major opportunity against Abdullah Mason. With Albert Bell stepping in instead, we debate whether Mason’s path just got a whole lot tougher and give our predictions for the entire card.To close the show, we talk about the WBA placing Gervonta “Tank” Davis in champion-in-recess status for the second time this year, and we react to the reported agreement for Teofimo Lopez and Rolando “Rolly” Romero to meet for the WBA welterweight title later this summer.

Is This A Bigger Fight For BOOTS Or ZAYAS? | SHAKUR Or KEYSHAWN? Haney Has To Choose

We kick things off with Gervonta Davis jumping back on X and firing shots at both Devin Haney and Shakur Stevenson. Love him or hate him, boxing gets a lot more interesting when Tank starts talking. Then Quinton Randall breaks down Errol Spence’s recent comments about what went wrong during the Terence Crawford camp. Since Quinton was one of Spence’s main sparring partners for that fight, he’s able to separate facts from fiction and give firsthand insight into what really happened behind the scenes. We also discuss Vergil Ortiz and Golden Boy getting back to the negotiating table. Was this whole situation blown out of proportion? With Golden Boy’s new DAZN deal in place, does Golden Boy need Vergil just as much as Vergil needs them? And if Vergil returns later this year, where does he rank among the top dogs at 154?Speaking of 154, Boots Ennis and Xander Zayas finally collide this week. We react to some comments from Max Kellerman and debate who has more to gain from a victory. Does a win make Zayas a superstar? Does Boots get the credit he deserves? We also break down the keys to victory for both fighters.Next, we preview Louis Crocker vs Liam Paro. Paro is moving into dangerous territory, Crocker enters as the underdog, and the outcome could have major implications for the welterweight division. We also discuss the WBO’s latest stance on Devin Haney. A Keyshawn Davis mandatory appears to be coming in July, which could put Haney’s plans with Shakur Stevenson in serious jeopardy. Could Haney still find a way to make the Shakur fight happen? And finally, Shakur says Haney is chasing a size advantage. Is Devin targeting Shakur now because of the weight difference? We examine the history of weight advantages, catchweights, and whether Shakur’s criticism holds up.

Bill PROTECTING Devin From Keyshawn?! | Shakur Headed to ZUFFA?! | Did Benavidez DUCK Beterbiev?

This week in boxing, friend of the show Michael Angeletti goes to Japan and pulls off the biggest win of his career, defeating Kenneth Llover in an IBF eliminator to become the mandatory challenger at bantamweight. We break down the fight, the scorecards, and what comes next. Then we get into the David Benavidez vs Artur Beterbiev debate. Was the move toward a Zurdo Ramirez fight really about chasing more belts, or was Zurdo simply the easier fight? If beating Beterbiev is the equivalent of winning a world title, did Benavidez pass on the bigger opportunity?Bam Rodriguez returns next week, and we give our predictions for one of boxing's pound-for-pound best.Eddie Hearn may have let the cat out of the bag when he suggested Shakur Stevenson is headed to Zuffa Boxing. Shakur quickly responded by telling fans not to believe anything unless it comes directly from him. We put on the conspiracy hats and discuss whether the rumors could actually be true, what Zuffa's long-term plans might be, and whether a Shakur vs Haney showdown could eventually be on the horizon.Dana White also made headlines by saying that eventually all the top boxers will be signed with Zuffa. Is that realistic, or is it just promotional talk?Lamont Roach vs William Zepeda is officially set for the vacant WBC lightweight title. We discuss the matchup, the venue, and ask which outcome makes the lightweight division more interesting moving forward. We also break down Isaac "Pitbull" Cruz vs Gary Antoine Russell, one of the most intriguing style matchups currently on the schedule, and give our predictions. With Pitbull Cruz and Lamont Roach both booked, where does that leave Gervonta Davis? Recent rumors linked Tank to rematches with both fighters, but now those options appear off the table. We close the show with the topic that's got boxing fans talking:Devin Haney vs Keyshawn Davis.Bill Haney wants Shakur Stevenson included as part of a package deal if Devin gets past Keyshawn. So we ask the question:Is Bill Haney using Shakur to protect Devin from Keyshawn?

Did O’Shaquie REALLY Make Shakur Stevenson QUIT? | Canelo Had 6 YEARS To Fight Benavidez

This week we’re breaking down everything from Foster’s win over Raymond Ford, including the crazy first round that saw Ford go flying through the ropes, the bizarre scorecards that had all three judges seeing a different fight, and the adjustments Foster made that ultimately secured the victory. We also discuss the moment Shakur Stevenson stepped into the ring after the fight and what happened afterward when Shock addressed the media. Is a fight with Shakur really next? Does it make sense? Or is Emanuel Navarrete the better move right now?The highlight of the show comes when we call O’Shaquie Foster’s trainer Bobby Benton live on the podcast. Bobby joins us less than 24 hours after the fight to discuss the game plan, what they saw from Ford, what fans may have missed watching from home, and who he believes Foster should fight next.We also touch on Dmitry Bivol’s return after a 15-month layoff and ask the question boxing fans keep debating: is Bivol avoiding David Benavidez or are there simply bigger opportunities available? The conversation then shifts to Rolly Romero after the WBA elevated him to Super Champion status. Coming off the biggest win of his career over Ryan Garcia, we ask what happened. Why didn’t the Devin Haney fight happen? What happened to the Ryan rematch? Did PBC miss an opportunity to capitalize on Rolly’s momentum? We also discuss Matchroom winning the purse bid for Andy Cruz vs Albert Bell in an IBF lightweight title eliminator and what that means moving forward at 135 pounds.Jermall Charlo is officially returning on the Errol Spence vs Tim Tszyu undercard, which leads us into a larger conversation about his career. Did Charlo live up to his potential? Did he miss the defining fights that could have cemented his legacy against names like Canelo Alvarez, David Benavidez, and Caleb Plant? To close the show, we revisit Canelo Alvarez’s recent comments about David Benavidez. Canelo says Benavidez should have fought him when he was still campaigning at 168 and claims he’s simply too big now. We go back through the timeline, examine the facts, and ask whether Canelo is being accurate or trying to rewrite boxing history.

Keyshawn BEATS Devin Haney?!” | Tank Got BACKED Into A Corner?! | Canelo vs Mbilli Official

We started the episode with the fallout from Keyshawn vs Albright 2, why the performance rubbed fans the wrong way after all the KO talk, and the reactions that came after. We also debated Bozy Ennis saying he’d back Keyshawn to beat Devin Haney and broke down why a lot of people agree… and why a lot of people think that’s a terrible take. From there we talked Brian Norman vs Josh Wagner, why the fight felt underwhelming to some people, and whether Norman actually showed any new wrinkles or if he’s still relying on the same things against lower-level opposition. We also got into the Usyk vs Rico card from this weekend, the atmosphere around it, the matchups on the card, and the continued trend of boxing becoming more cinematic and global with these huge international events. Then we moved into the massive conversation around Canelo Alvarez vs Christian Mbilli officially being announced for September 12 in Riyadh under the “Mexico vs The World” banner after the pyramids faceoff in Egypt. We talked about the actual fight, whether Mbilli’s pressure style could either overwhelm Canelo or play directly into his counters, and the bigger picture of what Turki Alalshikh is doing to boxing. That led into a deeper conversation about spectacle in boxing, whether these massive global presentations actually help the sport or distract from it, and how boxing is starting to feel more like worldwide entertainment again instead of just another Vegas fight weekend. We talked Ali in Zaire, Tyson in Tokyo, Floyd making fights feel luxurious, and whether boxing today is leaning too hard into billionaire-produced mega events. We also broke down the WBA officially ordering Tank vs Floyd Schofield, what that means for the lightweight division, why Schofield earned the opportunity, and whether Tank is being forced into a dangerous mandatory. Then we got into Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn being announced on Jimmy Fallon instead of a traditional boxing stage, why boxing is chasing mainstream moments harder than ever, and whether this fight is more about entertainment, controversy, personalities, and virality than actual “best vs best” boxing. We closed the episode talking O’Shaquie Foster vs Raymond Ford, one of the best pure boxing matchups of the year stylistically, why hardcore fans love fights like this even when casuals ignore them, and whether modern boxing fans still truly appreciate elite skill fights without drama, chaos, or social media narratives attached to them.

We discussed what the victory means moving forward. From there we got into the Keyshawn Davis weigh-in situation ahead of his rematch with Nahir Albright. We discussed Keyshawn initially missing weight before making it on the second attempt, the conversations surrounding the scale, and whether situations like that matter mentally heading into a fight. We also talked about Vasiliy Lomachenko reportedly plotting a return at 135 pounds and debated which fight makes the most sense for him now. We discussed Raymond Muratalla, Shakur Stevenson, title opportunities, and whether Loma should focus on legacy fights or championship fights at this stage of his career.Another major topic was the reported August 1 matchup between Lamont Roach Jr. and William Zepeda for the vacant WBC lightweight title. We broke down the stylistic matchup, who needs the fight more, and what a victory could do for either fighter moving forward. We also touched on David Morrell’s upset loss to Zak Chelli and how quickly momentum can change in boxing. To close the episode, we had a bigger conversation about David Benavidez and whether he’s truly become the guy from 168 to cruiserweight despite not getting the mega fights he’s been chasing. We discussed boxing politics, fan support, and whether Benavidez is already viewed as one of the most avoided fighters in the sport.Tap in for the full episode.
