Ezekiel • Lesson 12 — Live Near the Lord

What would change if God’s presence shaped your money, calendar, home, and relationships? In Ezekiel’s final vision, worship belongs alongside honest dealings, accountable leadership, and a place for the outsider. A river from the sanctuary brings life where death had ruled. Kevin Jordan closes the series by moving from putting God at the center to carrying His life outward. Redemption forms a people whose everyday practices bear witness that the Lord is there. Scripture: Ezekiel 45:1–48:35How Redemption Works • Season 1, Lesson 12 of 12 Reflect: What would change if your home, money, calendar, influences, and relationships were centered on God’s presence? Put it into practice: Read Ezekiel 45:8–12, 47:1–12, 47:21–23, and 48:35. Review your home, money, and calendar. Choose one change that re-centers life on the Lord and one action that carries His life toward a broken or excluded place. Preached by Kevin Jordan at Cana Church in Burleson, Texas. Ezekiel • Lesson 11 — Rebuild Around God’s Presence

What foundation are you rebuilding on? Ezekiel’s temple vision leads toward the return of God’s glory and a life ordered around His holy presence. Kevin Jordan explores how redemption changes both our priorities and our mindset. The invitation is to let God reshape worship, attitudes, appetites, and responsibilities rather than rebuilding familiar patterns on a failed foundation. Through Christ, shame can become a doorway to repentance, renewed purpose, and faithful service. Scripture: Ezekiel 40:1–44:31How Redemption Works • Season 1, Lesson 11 of 12 Reflect: Which action, attitude, appetite, or responsibility needs to be reordered around God’s presence? Put it into practice: Read Ezekiel 43:1–12 and 44:15–24. Ask God to measure one area of your lifestyle and one area of your mindset. Establish one holy priority, resume one neglected responsibility, and complete one concrete act of worship or obedience this week. Preached by Kevin Jordan at Cana Church in Burleson, Texas. Ezekiel • Lesson 10 — Rest in the Victory God Secures

Can the threats ahead undo what God has promised? The visions of Gog’s defeat and the cleansing of the land answer fear with God’s sovereign care. Kevin Jordan explores how to rest in the victory God secures without turning prophecy into speculation about today’s headlines. The focus is God’s holiness, mercy, and presence. Christian hope gives us courage to resist fear, reject predatory desires, and help repair what sin and violence have damaged. Scripture: Ezekiel 38:1–39:29How Redemption Works • Season 1, Lesson 10 of 12 Reflect: Where do fear, speculation, or a desire to control keep you from resting in the victory God secures? Put it into practice: Read Ezekiel 38:10–23 and 39:21–29. Name one threat that fuels panic and one damaged place where faithful repair is possible. Pray over the threat, reject one fear-driven response, and take one Spirit-dependent step toward peace or restoration. Preached by Kevin Jordan at Cana Church in Burleson, Texas. Ezekiel • Lesson 9 — Receive New Life from God

What happens after the old securities are gone? The fall of Jerusalem gives way to God’s promises of a true shepherd, a new heart, His Spirit, and life for a people who feel as hopeless as dry bones. Kevin Jordan explores how receiving new life involves more than wishing for the past. This message invites a fresh, faithful vision of identity, mission, obedience, and belonging among God’s people—grounded in the life only God can give. Scripture: Ezekiel 33:21–37:28How Redemption Works • Season 1, Lesson 9 of 12 Reflect: What would make your vision for new life fresh, authentic, actionable, and connected to God’s people? Put it into practice: Read Ezekiel 36:22–37 and 37:1–14. Write four sentences beginning, “Because of God, I am…,” “My mission is…,” “I will begin…,” and “With God’s people, I will….” Take one first step this week. Ezekiel • Lesson 8 — Embrace God’s Reset by Taking Responsibility

When life changes abruptly, what responsibility is yours—and what was never yours to control? Ezekiel’s judgments against the nations expose pride, revenge, and false security before the watchman’s warning brings the question home. Kevin Jordan explores how to receive a reset with humility and hope. Taking responsibility means owning your faithful response today, not accepting blame for every painful event. God’s call to turn and live opens a path toward repair, justice, and obedience. Scripture: Ezekiel 25:1–33:20How Redemption Works • Season 1, Lesson 8 of 12 Reflect: Where is a present reset inviting you to take responsibility without accepting false guilt? Put it into practice: Read Ezekiel 28:1–10, 29:1–16, and 33:7–20. List what has changed, what you cannot control, and what faithful response you can own. Complete one concrete act of repair, justice, or obedience. Preached by Kevin Jordan at Cana Church in Burleson, Texas. Ezekiel • Lesson 7 — Build a Pattern of Faithfulness

A powerful spiritual moment is not the same as a faithful pattern of life. Ezekiel traces repeated rebellion across generations, exposing the gap between religious interest and actual obedience. Kevin Jordan brings that warning into the habits of our thoughts, desires, and actions. This episode invites us to move beyond comparison and short-lived enthusiasm toward regular hearing, honest confession, and concrete changes made with the help of God’s people. Scripture: Ezekiel 20:1–24:27How Redemption Works • Season 1, Lesson 7 of 12 Reflect: Where are you relying on spiritual emotion or comparison instead of disciplined obedience? Put it into practice: Read Ezekiel 20:32–44 and 22:23–31 twice. Name one recurring rebellion; confess it to God and one trusted believer; then schedule one replacement practice for seven days. Ezekiel • Lesson 6 — Take Personal Responsibility for Your Sin

Your history influences you, but it does not remove your responsibility or close the door to repentance. Ezekiel challenges the proverb that blamed the present entirely on earlier generations. Kevin Jordan explores God’s justice and mercy, the concrete shape of righteous living, and the invitation to turn and live. This message calls us to own our choices and become a faithful influence for those who follow us, without pretending we can control their response to God. Scripture: Ezekiel 18–19How Redemption Works • Season 1, Lesson 6 of 12 Reflect: Where do you need to replace blame with repentance and faithful action? Put it into practice: Draw two columns labeled “Influences I received” and “Responsibilities I own.” Pray honestly through both, then choose one action that helps create a faithful environment for someone behind you. Ezekiel • Lesson 5 — Renounce False Worship and All Idols

Are we receiving God’s gifts with gratitude—or using them to build a life apart from Him? Ezekiel’s pictures of a fruitless vine, an unfaithful city, and misplaced political trust expose the depth of divided loyalty. Kevin Jordan explores how grace creates a fruitful covenant life and why worship cannot become bargaining for the outcomes we want. God’s promise of a planted cedar turns our attention toward the true King and the life He provides. Scripture: Ezekiel 15–17How Redemption Works • Season 1, Lesson 5 of 12 Reflect: What result or satisfaction are you tempted to demand from God before obeying Him? Put it into practice: Complete this sentence honestly: “I am tempted to treat God as valuable mainly when He gives me ___.” Renounce that condition and practice one act of worship that offers God love without bargaining.
