In this episode of the eMobility Marketing Podcast, Theo Reichgelt sits down with Francesco Tribuni, founder of a newly launched Last Mile and out-of-home consultancy, to explore how thought leadership turns expertise into real business opportunities. Francesco has spent three decades in logistics. He started as a boy labelling parcels by hand in his grandfather’s warehouse, and since 2022 he has become a recognised voice on parcel lockers, out-of-home delivery and autonomous delivery, writing about the volumes, revenues and strategies of Europe’s delivery networks. His consultancy, launched this summer, helps logistics companies, 3PLs and municipalities turn market knowledge into a tailored out-of-home strategy. Theo and Francesco unpack the journey from expertise to authority to opportunity. Francesco explains that in 2022 fewer than 10 people on LinkedIn were discussing out-of-home delivery,. He describes how players such as InPost, Vinted and Allegro then built their models around it. He shares his routine for learning in public: find the right people, comment, connect, and post every day even when the graphics are rough. He also explains why reactions are only the surface and direct messages are the real signal. His first consultancy opportunities include a municipality drafting local regulation and a 3PL moving volumes from home delivery to out of home. Out-of-home delivery costs €0.50 to €1 less per parcel, but convincing the 3PL’s customers to switch is the real hurdle. They also cover the simple one-square post format he uses so readers get a 40-page report in 30 seconds, how he runs a recurring LinkedIn series with Gemini, and why a phone call still beats waiting for an inbox.
