    And just like that, we are half way through the 'new year'! Where did all the time go? In this episode, we sat down and did an honest reflection of what 2026 has been like so far, thinking back to what we had hoped the year would look like now and what the matter on ground truly is. We also read letters from you guys as you shared some of the goals you've decided to drop at this point in the year because sometimes, you just have to be realistic.     State of The Nation Address

    It gets to a point in the life of every Ghanaian where we cannot help but ask - are we serious as a country? Neighbourhoods are flooding, buildings are collapsing, and places are burning, but the 'Ogas at the top' think it is best we focus on allegedly high-priority bills and blaming citizens for the state of the nation. As if the near-impossible task of trying to live and thrive as the average Ghanaian is not frustrating enough. This week's episode is a bit of a social studies lesson as we get into xenophobia, homophobia, and dissect whether we’re focusing on what actually improves people’s lives or furthering unnecessary agendas. It might sound like an incredibly heavy conversation, and you might scream internally a few times, but is it a 2Yapperz episode if we don't make you laugh? Enjoy!     This Is The Ghanaian Dream

    It started with us wondering what the Ghanaian dream was, but it quickly evolved into a conversation about how the average Ghanaian doesn't even have the basics for a decent life. And then, we got into why it's important to hold politicians accountable because it is their job to make decisions that improve Ghanaians' well-being. Oh, and we also spoke about how it was important to call sexual offenders out and not shield anyone simply because they are rich or popular.     The Long Overdue Season Finale

    This is a very late end-of-year reflections/new-year-resolutions episode, but we have to release it anyway so we can officially end the season. No, this isn't the episode about siblings. Somehow, that episode got corrupted, and unfortunately, we couldn't record that conversation again. Let's call that an occupational risk, shall we? This episode was inspired by another conversation between Emma Grede and Tracee Ellis Ross. A lot of it had to do with habits and practices that are helping us live out parts of our dream life. It involved a lot of introspection and reflection, and it was just a nice way to wrap up our year and season. We hope you enjoy the conversation and that your year is shaping up as you hoped.     Beauty and The Alleged Beast

    It started with a picture on Instagram advertising ‘chin feminisation’ services, and ended with a 2-hour conversation about beauty standards, procedures, and made-up insecurities. The exploitation of women’s desires to feel and look good, and the constant repackaging of what femininity is supposed to look like is jarring, and we can't pretend like it's not problematic.
