EP. 102 – The Courage to Be Seen w/ Wayne Moody | The Patty Show

What does it really mean to build the life you've been dreaming about? For Episode 102 of The Patty Show, Patty sits down with Wayne A. Moody, Belizean life coach, Life Mastery Consultant, Dream Builder, and the man known as the “Minister of Transformation.” This one is special because Patty isn't meeting Wayne for the first time. Wayne became a life coach to Patty's good friend Luckario through their mutual friend Barry, and after building that connection over time, Patty eventually got to experience Belize with Wayne during Luckario's bachelor party weekend. So naturally... they had to record an episode. And not just anywhere. This conversation was recorded at the beautiful Hopkins Bay Resort in Belize, surrounded by the energy, culture, and scenery of a country Wayne knows and loves. What started as a planned conversation quickly turned into a completely off-the-cuff, nearly two-hour hangout about dreams, transformation, friendship, travel, culture, and life. Wayne shares his incredible journey from Belize to the United States and the many chapters that shaped him along the way—from working in schools and prisons to driving for Uber and eventually building a career dedicated to helping people transform their lives. His philosophy is simple but powerful: The dream doesn't have to stay a dream. We talk about what it takes to turn a vision into action, overcome the fear of starting, keep believing in yourself through different seasons of life, and create a future that actually feels like yours. But this isn't just a personal-development conversation. Wayne also becomes our unofficial Belize tour guide. 🇧🇿 Belizean culture and identity 🏛️ Mayan history and temples 🌴 The Caribbean and Central American influences that make Belize unique 🎉 Pre-Carnival energy and celebrations 🌎 Life between Belize and the United States 🤝 Friendship, mentorship, and community 💭 Dreaming bigger than your current circumstances 🧠 Mindset, transformation, and personal development 🎯 Turning vision into action 🌱 Building a life around purpose and possibility And throughout the conversation, Patty naturally connects Wayne's philosophy back to his own journey—acting, filmmaking, podcasting, the 9–5 tech world, personal training, the 5AM Fun Fit Club, online coaching, and the ongoing pursuit of his own Personal Paradise. Because there isn't one blueprint for a great life. Your Personal Paradise might be a business. A creative career. A healthier body. A stronger mindset. A family. Travel. Community. Or simply having the courage to finally pursue the thing you've been talking yourself out of. Wayne's story is a reminder that transformation doesn't happen all at once. It happens every time you choose to believe that something different is possible—and then take the next step. This episode is full of laughs, Belizean culture, life lessons, crazy stories, friendship, travel, and the kind of honest conversation that makes you stop and ask: What dream am I building? Come hang with Patty and the Minister of Transformation from beautiful Belize. Passion. Pleasure. Positivity. Keep pursuing your Personal Paradise. EP. 101 – Curiosity Creates Possibility w/ Bao Le | The Patty Show

EP. 101 – Curiosity Creates Possibility w/ Bao Le | The Patty Show What happens when curiosity takes you from Singapore to the world of filmmaking? In Episode 101 of The Patty Show, Patty sits down with Bao Le, a Singaporean cinematographer and filmmaker whose creative journey has taken her from discovering filmmaking in Singapore to studying at Nanyang Technological University and the American Film Institute, and ultimately building her career in Los Angeles. Bao shares the realities of pursuing filmmaking as a Southeast Asian woman in an industry that can feel far removed from the traditional expectations placed on women in her community. While opportunities and representation are growing, stepping outside the expected path and choosing a creative career still takes courage, conviction, and a willingness to bet on yourself. The conversation dives deep into cinematography, visual storytelling, lighting, collaboration, working on set, finding your creative voice, and what Bao has learned from studying and working across different filmmaking environments. But this is The Patty Show—so we go WAY beyond the résumé. Patty and Bao actually worked together on set, leading to stories about filmmaking, acting, production life, and Patty's unforgettable transformation into a 65-year-old retired lawyer. Then things get personal. Bao opens up about her love of K-Pop, EXO, D.O., anime, and Gintama, including the unbelievable story of her and her friends paying someone to wait in line for two weeks for K-Pop tickets. Yes. Two weeks. They also talk about hiking, diving, cooking, culture, life in Los Angeles, Singaporean roots, creativity outside of work, and the importance of staying curious. At the heart of this conversation is a simple idea: Curiosity Creates Possibility. Sometimes following one question can change the entire direction of your life. Bao's story is a reminder that you don't have to follow the path expected of you. You can take your culture with you, explore new worlds, build your own creative identity, and pursue a life that feels authentically yours. And because Bao is the homie, she even came bearing gifts from Singapore—Natural Squirms gummies, which Patty can officially confirm are dangerously good. A little taste of Singapore made its way onto The Patty Show set! This episode is for filmmakers, actors, creatives, Southeast Asian artists, immigrants, K-Pop and anime fans, and anyone figuring out what their own Personal Paradise could look like. And of course, Patty connects it all back to the bigger mission: Passion, Pleasure, Positivity, and building a life you actually want to wake up for. Come for the cinematography. Stay for the K-Pop and Gintama stories. Leave feeling a little more curious about what's possible for you. What are you curious about? EP. 96 – Discipline Creates Safety w/ Jeffrey Shih | The Patty Show

What do Dungeons & Dragons, Meta leadership, and decades in tech have in common? In Episode 96 of The Patty Show, Patty sits down with fellow Meta teammate (Metamate), community leader, and longtime friend Jeffrey Shih for a conversation about discipline, identity, leadership, and the routines that keep us grounded through life's constant changes.
