While it offers interesting insight especially around speech, law, and duality. I ultimately chose to work with the Mesa/Amoxtli count that places the birth on 9 Ocelotl in the Miquiztli trecena. Based on the spirit, history, and consequences of this nation’s actions, the Jaguar born from Death felt more aligned than the Reed born from Snake.
