Here you will find audio commentary of all classic F1 races!(Usually from the brilliant Murray Walker Where possible)Unfortunately, over the years,  FOM & the FIA have a bad habit of deleting peoples often brilliant F1 related content because of the visuals.So, here, hopefully being able to just listen to commentary and the beauty that is the various F1 engines over the years will be a joy!

    2002 Japanese GP *Round 17* (Eurosport Commentary - Ben Collins & John Watson)

    So this was it then, the swansong.. Ferrari had all but dominated the season, The 2 Williams & David Coulthard still had a chance to fight for third, but the two major winners of the day here were Takuma Sato (Whose story to get to F1 was incredible by the way) and of course Michael Schumacher! History maker 100% Podium finishes (Which STILL Has not been matched to this day) Also, Schumi would become the first drive to 12 Hat Tricks in F1! Other stats, This would be Eddie Irvines and Mika Salos last races as they retired at the end. Alex Yoong would (Unsurprsingly somewhat) not be retained by Minardi and would be his last race too. So 2002 is done, but there would be some new rule changes to try and curb the Ferrari dominance for 2003.. How would this turn out?     2002 US GP *Round 16* (ITV Commentary - James & Martin)

    O say can you seeeeee? One hell of a finish? Well the finish certainly had people talking about Ferrari again, this time in a bit more positive light than Austria. Round 16 of 17 in the US of A! One driver who did not participate however was Felipa Massa. He was due to serve a ten place grid drop for an avoidable collision with Pedro De La Rosa in Italy, but the team found a loophole where they would not need to serve it if they just replaced him.. Which they did.. With Heinz - Harald - Frentzen. Unfortunately, this would also be the last ever start for Allan Mcnish who only lasted 1 season here in F1. Jenson Button & Jaguar had reason to celebrate, both being their 50th F1 Race Start. Also , a HUGE milestone in the fact that the winners of the race, this would be incredibly be their 60th 1- 2 Finish!     2002 Italian GP *Round 15* (ITV Commentary - James & Martin)

    GREAT NEWS! Alex Yoong was back in his Minardi after Anthony Davidson had replaced him for *Checks notes* Not qualifying for three races in a row.. Could this be the day Yoong does it?! (Yes, Albeit 1.3 Seconds off team mate Mark Webber) Bad news too.. This would actually be Eddie Irvines 50th & LAST Ever race he finished in the points! Would also be the 2nd and last ever podium for the team who finished 3rd in this race, which is pretty awful. While not a classic race, there was much excitement and many things happening including a huge shunt between Felipe Massa & Pedro De La Rosa in which Massa would become the first ever driver to get a ten place grid drop for the next race.. History Maker!     2002 Belgian GP *Round 14* (ITV Commentary - James & Martin)

    Round 14 of the World Championship, at the glorious Spa - Francorchamps. Although the two titles were over with, the battle for second place was heating up nicely with Barrichello, The Williams' & The Mclarens still at it! There were to be some kind of celebrations as one small team would get their first point since Australia..     2002 Hungarian GP *Round 13* (ITV Commentary - James & Martin)

    Some changes were afoot here! Firstly of all, there was still hope that Tom Walkinshaw and Arrows could find a buyer and be back for the next race. Also, Minardi owner Paul Stoddart replaced Alex Yoong with Little Brit Anthony Davidson after Yoong had failed to qualify for the previous 3 races in a row and went on a strict regime to help him improve. Minardi did want Justin Wilson initially, but the 6Ft1 Brit failed the test of getting out of an f1 car in 5 seconds. There were celebrations to be had though, the winning team would become the first constructor to win 12 titles and the man who won from pole would be the first to do so for his country since the legend in 1993!     2002 German GP *Round 12* (ITV Commentary - James & Martin)

    This was a revised circuit, the long forest straights had gone. This was to improve safety and more fan access to be able to see some cars. Mixed bag of reviews but safe to say.. It wasn't all that bad. Channel 9 popping in and out whenever they please still gets annoying sadly, especially during an epic battle between Montoya and Raikkonen. Also NEWS! There looked to have been a buyer for the Arrows team who really were in dire straits.. So much so, they didnt qualify in the last race but could they be saved? This would be, sadly, Enrique Bernoldis last ever start. As for good stats, A podium finisher would be his countries first to reach 10 podiums. The winner would also get his 10th Hat Trick, and the 2nd ever to complete 10.     This was it then.. Championship deciding day. The last race of the season? Huh? It's NOT! No, there are still 6 races left to go after this one, so the inevitability of Michael Schumacher becoming a 5 time world champion was there for all to see. But could he equal the record with Juan Manuel Fangio with a record 6 races to spare? Well, once again he would have to try to beat the high flying colombian of Juan Pablo Montoya from pole. Amazingly, Tom Walkinshaw paid off some cosworth debts so Arrows were allowed to race, but things for the Orange team would soon get worse. Plus, David Coulthards fastest lap in this race was the LAST one until 2007! Amazing stat.     2002 British GP *Round 10* (ITV Commentary - James & Martin)

    Although the championship seems to be inevitable, there is still no such thing as no drama in F1. First of all, apologies about the Aussie Channel 9 coverage, they really really enjoy a good talking about nothing sometimes over the track action, which did involve Rubens Barrichello stalling on the grid and having to start from the back. Plus of course, talking through the middle of the race instead of going straight back to the commentary team. Also, at the very end of the race, as the winner crossed the line and we were about to find out who finished third, technical difficulties meant it got cut off.. So yeah lol. As for the usual stats.. Michael Schumacher set a NEW record of 107 podiums in this race! JV Finished 4th,  Panis 5th (Both for BAR), Heidfeld finished 6th for Sauber.
