It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” Ephesians 5:25 - "Husbands are called to love their wives as Christ loved the church, illustrating sacrificial love in relationships" same scripture from the MSG Bible-Husbands, go all out in your love for your wives, exactly as Christ did for the church—a love marked by giving, not getting. Christ’s love makes the church whole. His words evoke her beauty. Everything he does and says is designed to bring the best out of her, dressing her in dazzling white silk, radiant with holiness. And that is how husbands ought to love their wives. They’re really doing themselves a favor—since they’re already “one” in marriage. Ephesians 4:2 "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." 1 Thessalonians 5:11: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing." Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Genesis 2:24- 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.' Malachi 2:14 Msg -"And here’s a second offense: You fill the place of worship with your whining and sniveling because you don’t get what you want from God. Do you know why? Simple. Because God was there as a witness when you spoke your marriage vows to your young bride, and now you’ve broken those vows, broken the faith-bond with your vowed companion, your covenant wife. God, not you, made marriage. His Spirit inhabits even the smallest details of marriage. And what does he want from marriage? Children of God, that’s what. So guard the spirit of marriage within you. Don’t cheat on your spouse." Ephesians 4:29 NIV "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

Connect with me on social media: The New Year is here! While we are making resolutions for 2025, I truly believe that we also need to make spiritual resolution. Spiritual changes to ensure that you are invested in your relationship with God. It all starts with renewing of the mind. Scriptures used in this episode: Romans 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Philippians 4:8-9 Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies. Joshua 1:8-9 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Romans 8:6 -So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace Janice
