THE FIRE ON EAST SEMINOLE: The Tulsa Triple Homicide (64)

Three people. One house. One devastating fire. And a seven-year-old girl caught in the middle of a horrifying Tulsa murder investigation. On October 14, 2018, firefighters responding to a house fire in Tulsa, Oklahoma, discovered the bodies of 27-year-old Ramon Marquis Brown, 27-year-old Hosea Fletcher, and seven-year-old Maziah A’Chelle Sea’On Brown inside the home. Investigators determined that all three had been shot—and evidence indicated that Maziah and her father Ramon were still alive when the fire began. In this episode of You Can’t Make This BS Up!, we go deep into the case involving Keenan Burkhalter and Andrew Labryam Conard. We’ll examine: 🔥 What happened inside the East Seminole home 🔎 How investigators connected the suspects to the crime 📱 The phone and surveillance evidence 🚙 The vehicle investigators were tracking 🔫 The firearm evidence 🧴 The lighter-fluid evidence ⚖️ Andrew Conard’s eventual cooperation with prosecutors 🏛️ Keenan Burkhalter’s trial and conviction 👩‍⚖️ The judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys and investigators involved 👩‍👦 The disturbing connection involving Conard’s mother, Beverly Nichols, and the death of Felicia Jones ❓ And the questions that remain surrounding this case And yes… I’m giving these suspects the third degree. Because sometimes the evidence is so unbelievable that you have to stop and ask: “What in the hell were you thinking?” But beneath the questions, courtroom drama and my commentary are three victims whose lives were taken far too soon. Maziah. Ramon. Hosea. This episode is dedicated to remembering them—not glorifying the people accused or convicted in connection with their deaths. Viewer/listener discretion is strongly advised. This episode discusses murder, the death of a child, firearms, arson and disturbing investigative evidence. You Can’t Make This BS Up! — where we follow the evidence, ask the uncomfortable questions, and let the facts speak for themselves. #TrueCrime #TrueCrimePodcast #YouCantMakeThisBSUp #TulsaTrueCrime #KeenanBurkhalter #AndrewConard #MaziahBrown #TulsaOklahoma #TrueCrimeCommunity #CrimeDocumentary #ColdCase #MurderInvestigation #JusticeForMaziah Fill your content.

JEREMY TREMAINE WILLIAMS & KAMARIE HOLLAND FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE EXECUTION (63)

Five-year-old Kamarie Holland should have had her entire life ahead of her. Instead, her name became connected to one of the most disturbing child-murder cases in Alabama and Georgia. In this deeply researched episode of You Can’t Make This Bs Up!, we go beyond the headlines to reconstruct the story from the beginning: Kamarie’s childhood and family, Jeremy Tremaine Williams’s documented history, Kristy Siple’s role, the relationships and warning signs that preceded the crime, the investigation, the forensic evidence, Williams’s confession, the courtroom proceedings, and the death sentence that followed. We also examine the difficult questions surrounding Williams’s earlier history, including the 2009 child-abuse case that ended in an acquittal, the investigation into the 2005 death of his infant daughter Naudia, and testimony concerning other alleged victims—carefully distinguishing allegations and investigations from proven convictions. Then we take you inside the final chapter. On August 13, 2026, Alabama carried out Jeremy Tremaine Williams’s death sentence by lethal injection. We’ll cover his final meal, final statement, the execution itself, and his official time of death at 6:16 p.m. Central Time. But this isn’t a story that ends with an execution. It’s a story about a five-year-old girl whose life was taken from her, a family left behind, the warning signs that surrounded the adults in her life, and the question of whether something could have been done to protect her. Remember Kamarie Holland. ⚠️ Content Warning: This episode contains disturbing discussions of child abuse, sexual assault, murder, drug use, forensic evidence and execution. Listener discretion is strongly advised. 🎙️ You Can’t Make This Bs Up! — True Crime. Real Cases. No Sugarcoating. your content.

Kelsey Turner; Beauty, Money, and Murder (61)

Former model Kelsey Turner appeared to be living a glamorous life, posing for magazines and building a social media following. Behind the scenes, however, prosecutors alleged she relied heavily on the financial support of 71-year-old California psychiatrist Dr. Thomas Burchard, who reportedly paid hundreds of thousands of dollars toward her lifestyle over several years. (Wikipedia) In March 2019, Dr. Burchard disappeared after traveling to Las Vegas. Days later, authorities discovered his body stuffed inside the trunk of Turner’s abandoned Mercedes-Benz on a desert road outside the city. Investigators concluded he had been beaten to death, and evidence from a Las Vegas home tied the killing to Turner, her boyfriend Jon “Logan” Kennison, and their roommate, Diana Peña. (AP News) According to prosecutors, the relationship between Turner and Dr. Burchard had deteriorated as he attempted to distance himself financially. Peña later cooperated with investigators, admitting she helped clean the crime scene after the killing and providing key testimony that strengthened the prosecution’s case. Kennison eventually pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder, receiving a prison sentence of 18 to 45 years. (AP News) Rather than proceed to trial, Turner entered an Alford plea to second-degree murder in late 2022, allowing her to maintain her innocence while acknowledging prosecutors had enough evidence to likely secure a conviction. In January 2023, she was sentenced to 10 to 25 years in a Nevada prison. (ABC News) This episode explores how an expensive lifestyle, financial dependence, and a toxic relationship escalated into a homicide that shocked both Nevada and California. It follows the investigation from Dr. Burchard’s disappearance to the forensic evidence, witness testimony, arrests, plea agreements, and the lasting impact on everyone connected to the case.

The Shallow Grave Jealousy Trap (57)

What happens when a single mom of four tries to move on from a toxic ex… and he decides she can’t? In January 2024, 32-year-old Kayla Laray Atwood drops her kids off at daycare and school in Pensacola, Florida—like any normal day. She never comes back. Her phone goes dark. Her family panics. Police release a chilling photo: Kayla climbing into a yellow Penske truck with a guy she met on a dating app just days earlier. But the real nightmare? Surveillance catches her stepping into her ex-boyfriend Mikhail Fountain’s white pickup truck minutes later. Texts fly between them. Then… nothing. Fountain shows up at neighbors’ doors, begging to see their cameras, claiming Kayla was “kidnapped.” He deletes footage. He wipes messages. He lies to cops. Eight days of agony later, cadaver dogs hit paydirt in the woods near the daycare—Kayla’s body in a shallow grave, shot and buried like trash. Fountain gets arrested at 2 a.m., fighting officers. Motive? Pure, explosive jealousy. Kayla was moving on. Fountain couldn’t handle losing control. Fast-forward to January 2026: After a three-day trial, a jury convicts 36-year-old Mikhail Fountain of second-degree murder. He faces up to life without parole—sentencing coming in February. This is a story of domestic terror, deleted evidence, a mother’s unbreakable love for her four kids, and a cover-up so sloppy you truly can’t make this BS up. Joel Davis breaks it all down: Kayla’s tough Pensacola roots, her family devotion, the tangled ex-boyfriend drama, the heart-stopping search, and the courtroom justice that finally came.
