Why Did God Lead Me Here? (Led Into the Fight | Luke 004)

Right after the Father declared Jesus His beloved Son, the Holy Spirit led Him straight into the wilderness. In this message from our Holy Spirit series through Luke and Acts, guest speaker Luke Freiburg walks through Jesus' temptation and what the Spirit does in our own wilderness seasons: He confirms our identity before the enemy attacks it, exposes the false saviors we turn to, trains us to reject shortcuts, and teaches us to trust God instead of testing Him. If you're tired of losing the same fight, discover why hard doesn't mean abandoned, and how Jesus won the battle we couldn't win. This Too Shall Last - Meet Us Here 003

Episode 3 — This Too Shall Last What do you do when the hurt keeps coming and nobody's easy answers are helping? That's the question a listener sent in, and it's one a lot of people carry quietly. In this episode we look at Jesus standing outside Lazarus's tomb — knowing exactly what he was about to do, and weeping anyway. What that moment reveals about how God meets us in suffering might change the way you pray through your own. We also get practical: how to stop measuring your pain against everyone else's, why isolation makes everything heavier, and what it looks like to set your mind on God's goodness when your feelings haven't caught up yet. Who Do You Think You Are? (Gospel of Luke | W3)

Before Jesus preached a single sermon or performed a single miracle, His Father declared who He was — "You are my dearly loved Son, and you bring me great joy." In this message from our Holy Spirit series through Luke and Acts, we look at what it means to receive your identity instead of earning it, why the loudest voices in your life aren't always the true ones, and how knowing who God says you are changes everything about the life you're being called to live. Why Is God Taking So Long? (Nothing Is Neutral | Luke 2:25-35)

Why Is God Taking So Long? (Nothing Is Neutral | Luke 2:25-35) Simeon waited decades for God to fulfill a single promise — and every "not yet" could have felt like "never." In this message from our Holy Spirit series through Luke and Acts, we look at what it actually means to wait on God, why the small and "mundane" things in your life are never neutral, and how training your ears to hear His voice now is exactly what prepares you to recognize Him when He moves. How to Tell If You've Gone Numb to God... (Are You Ready? | Luke 1:26-38)

You can go to church, post a Bible verse, wear a cross necklace — and still be completely numb to God. That was Zechariah. A priest. Standing in the one place in Israel most likely to encounter God's presence. And when God actually showed up, he couldn't believe it. In this first message of our new series through the Gospel of Luke, we're asking a question most of us avoid: has familiarity with "God stuff" made you numb to the real thing? We compare Zechariah's doubt with Mary's faith — same angel, same impossible news, completely different responses — and unpack why what comes out of you under pressure reveals what's actually in your heart. If you've ever wondered whether your faith is real or just routine, this one's for you. In this message: Why the temple, the rituals, and "doing the right things" couldn't save Zechariah from unbeliefThe difference between "prove it" faith and "I believe you, so how?" faithHow to tell if you've gone numb to God without realizing itWhat it actually means to be ready when God moves📖 Luke 1:26-38🎙️ Young Adults Ministry — Greenwood Church | Weatherford, TX Connect with us:📧 ya@greenwood.church📸 Instagram: @ya.greenwood #YoungAdults #GospelOfLuke #HolySpirit #ChristianPodcast #Faith #Weatherford

"Why Don't I Desire to Read My Bible Most Days?" | Meet Us Here 001

Why don’t we desire to read the Bible some days — even when we genuinely love Jesus? In the first episode of the Meet Us Here Podcast, we talk honestly about spiritual hunger, distraction, conviction, routine, shame, discipline, and what Scripture is actually meant to be in the life of a believer. This conversation isn’t about guilt-driven Christianity or pretending to have it all together — it’s about understanding why our hearts drift and why the Word of God still matters deeply in everyday life. If you’ve ever felt inconsistent, spiritually dry, distracted, or frustrated with your relationship to Scripture, this episode is for you. Thanks for listening to the Meet Us Here Podcast.
