Beyond Talking Points: An American Middle Podcast

I love this podcast because it features a relentless search for the middle, a “radical middle.” We need this perspective so much right now!

As someone who has found the current political and cultural narrative disorienting, I am very grateful for the thoughtful and helpful conversations your podcast delivers. It gives me hope that the promoted discourse in our nation does not represent everyone and there are individuals who care deeply about the value of humanity and doing the right thing.

I’m so glad I found this podcast! As a busy working mom, I have been looking for thoughtful unbiased ways to learn more about government and policy. I don’t have time or interest in watching mainstream news but I love the podcast format. As a Christian, I also love hearing from a perspective that engages my faith but also strikes a fair balance. I actually want to learn about policy and not just hear an opinion or talking points/rhetoric. I want my ideas to be challenged so I can grow as I raise the next generation of leaders. So thank you Abby for your wisdom and thoughtfulness. I’ve learned so much already and cheering you on here in hopes you continue past this election cycle.

I always look forward to reading Abby’s section in the Sunday Opinion pages. Now I can go Beyond that to listening to her thoughts with other contributors. Thanks! I especially enjoyed episode 3 with Peter Wehner. I’ll likely share it with my social media friends hoping to reach the hearts of those that may still be undecided.
