    What If Your Best Strategy Is A Relationship {Ep 240}

    Send us Fan Mail Your business is not just a set of tasks, funnels, and to-do lists. It has a pulse. When you relate to it like a living relationship, the questions you ask change from “What should I post?” to “What are we building together, and what do we need today?” That shift can be the difference between marketing that feels forced and content that feels like you again.  I take the Sacral Chakra as a practical lens for entrepreneurship, especially around communication, creativity, and intuition. I talk about how to “speak” with your business through journaling, letters, quiet listening, and daily check-ins, and why that can create clearer brand messaging and a more consistent marketing strategy. I also explore the idea that your business may have an inner-child quality and needs support, care, and attention just like any relationship does, while also supporting you in return.  If you have been launching hard and then disappearing, outsourcing decisions until you barely recognise your own voice, or feeling like the passion has drained out of your work, I name those as signs of unaligned energy rather than personal failure.     Working With Your Inner Child Through The Third Eye Chakra {Ep 239}

    Send us Fan Mail Your mind isn’t “broken” when it spirals. Sometimes it’s your inner child trying to get a message through, and the Third Eye Chakra is the place where you can finally hear it clearly. I talk about the Third Eye Chakra as more than psychic sight. It’s your centre for awareness, mindset, beliefs, discernment, and the ability to notice what’s really driving your thoughts. I walk through a grounded approach to inner child healing, including why emotions like sadness or frustration are signals rather than failures. You’ll hear why I don’t see energy as permanently blocked, how to question beliefs you may have inherited from family or school, and how to catch the “illusions” your mind can create when fear takes the wheel. One of the most practical tools I share is the love versus fear question and how your body often answers before your brain can argue. I also get honest about safety, regulation, and support. Sometimes talk therapy is the right first step before deep body work, and complementary approaches can work together. From there, intuition becomes less forced and more natural, and open minded listening becomes possible without absorbing other people’s negativity.     Meet Your Own Needs Through The Sacral Chakra {Ep 238}

    Send us Fan Mail Someone calls you “too emotional,” and suddenly you’re negotiating with your own feelings like they’re a problem to solve. We take the opposite approach. I’m Darlene, and this Tuesday Talk is a grounded, practical look at self relationship through the sacral chakra, the place where emotions, creativity, pleasure, and deep self trust can come back online when you stop denying what you feel.  I start with a simple but confronting question. What does “having a relationship with yourself” actually mean for you? From there, I unpack why meeting your own needs changes everything. When you stop relying on other people to regulate your emotions or validate your choices, friendships and partnerships feel more balanced, more honest, and less like you’re doing all the work. Then I go into the foundations. Grounding into the Earth Connection Chakra at the core of Mother Earth, moving up through the Root Base Chakra, and into the Sacral Chakra. I explain why strong lower Chakra grounding supports emotional regulation and makes intuition easier to trust. I also talk about self honesty, how every thought contains judgment, and how to catch the moment judgment turns critical so it doesn’t erode your confidence. I close with signs of Sacral Chakra imbalance, including dependency, loneliness, overwhelm, procrastination, and feeling unworthy, plus a healthier way to sit with emotions like anger or jealousy without letting them become extremes.     Spiritual Tools Are Not A Business Plan {Ep 237}

If you’ve been pulling cards for your next offer, journaling your “big vision,” and waiting for the perfect download to arrive, you might feel like you’re moving fast while your business stays in the same place. I get controversial here for a reason. Spiritual tools can be incredible support, but they are not a business plan. I unpack why clarity feels like progress and how the vision phase can become a comfortable loop of brainstorming, learning, tweaking, and imagining. Then I get practical about what actually creates traction in a spiritual or creative business. structure, timelines, priorities, budgets, offers, marketing plans, and simple systems that make execution easier. I talk about visibility, client pathways, and the behind-the-scenes operational pieces that turn inspiration into income. I also challenge the way we sometimes lean on labels to avoid structure, and I share why I believe structure doesn’t kill intuition, it protects it.     Why Some Days Emotionally Hit Harder Than Others {Ep 236}

    Send us Fan Mail Some days you wake up and everything feels heavier. You’re still doing the work, answering the messages, showing up for clients, and keeping life moving, yet underneath it all you feel tired, flat, irritated, or strangely sensitive and you can’t point to a single cause. We’ve been taught to judge ourselves for that, especially as women, instead of getting curious about what’s really happening. I unpack why emotions are not always random or logical. Your nervous system and subconscious can react to old experiences, family dynamics, grief, loss of identity, pressure, loneliness, comparison, or quiet disappointment. I also talk about a crucial twist. Emotional overwhelm doesn’t always look like tears. It can look like numbness, brain fog, procrastination, withdrawal, or overworking, and “staying busy” can become a way to avoid what needs attention. (And yes, if something feels off physically, it’s always worth checking things out medically too.) I lean into the body’s role as an early warning system and how tightness, fatigue, heaviness, restlessness, or tears can be useful data, not something to suppress. The aim isn’t to become emotionless. It’s to recognise yourself sooner, respond instead of react, and stop abandoning yourself when something tender rises.     Your Job Does Not Cancel Your Business {Ep 234}

    Send us Fan Mail Keeping your day job while building your business can feel like you’re standing in an in-between space where nothing “counts” until you quit. I'm calling that out. If you’re growing a business, launching a startup, or trying to start a business while working full time, your job is not proof you’re not serious. It can be the very structure that makes your entrepreneurship sustainable. I talk about the real pressure behind the double life. The mental switching between employee mode and business owner mode, the hidden emotional load, and why adrenaline is a terrible long-term operating system. When your brain is split all day, it’s easy to believe you’re falling behind even while you’re building steadily. I share a calmer way to think about timing, seasons, and progress, plus simple routines that help you transition so you can show up with more clarity and less urgency. I also get honest about the loud online messaging that pushes people to “go all in” no matter their finances. With cost of living rising, that advice can be reckless. Your job does not cancel your business, and it doesn’t dilute your identity either.     The “Idea Phase” Boundary. Stop Creating Everything at Once {Ep 233}

I push back on that urgency and make the case for a calmer kind of ambition. When you try to build everything at once, you do not just lose time, you lose momentum, clarity, and the ability to finish what matters. So we slow the whole thing down and choose the work that actually deserves your focus today. I share a simple way to sort your ideas without shutting them down. Write them down, park them, and ask one honest question before you commit. Does this idea fit the direction I am already building, or will it pull everything apart? I talk about why timing beats urgency, how one solid offer can unlock the rest like a jigsaw puzzle, and why making money with the next right project often creates the space for the “later” ideas. Then I give practical about business foundations. Pricing, delivery, and the way your business runs day to day are the base that holds every new product, course, or membership. If the foundation is wobbly, even good ideas feel heavy. I also go into intuition, boundaries, and confidence, especially when choosing a coach. I explain why I dislike rigid one-size-fits-all coaching claims and how marketing tactics like NLP can be used well or used to pressure people.
