    The Same Room Snarkcast

General Hospital Snarkcast - Recorded Monday, August 17, 2026 IN THE SAME ROOM! Mama Snark and David are somehow in the same room this week, a first in Snarkcast history, having just wrapped their inaugural NYC meetup. There were lottery tickets to Book of Mormon, third row center, because David apparently knows every box office employee in Manhattan. There was also a hat with a soap opera pedigree so tangled it deserves its own investigative unit, connecting a Snarkcast patron to Tabyana Ali to the actual stalker photo board on GH. Six degrees of separation, but make it a hat. Then it's back to the business of Port Charles being a mess. Curtis gets sentenced to prison and somehow radiates zero humility about it, which tracks since his daughter Trina is currently having a tantrum over the fourteen devastating minutes she once spent away from her parents. Michael, meanwhile, has discovered the art of calm, quiet menace, locking Willow in the gatehouse and confiscating her passport like a man who watched one too many custody documentaries. Rounding out the chaos: Joss delivers a boundary-setting speech to Hudson so thorough it should come with a syllabus, Charlotte and Danny hatch a plan to eventually maybe have a plan to take down Drew, and Jason Morgan has started wearing collared shirts, which the hosts have correctly identified as full-blown character foreshadowing. Also on the docket, a very serious debate over who deserves a one-way trip to the character closet. The results from the event were unanimous. Sorry, Kai. GH's Wheel of Really Weird Plots

General Hospital Snarkcast - Recorded Monday, August 10, 2026 GH's writers dusted off the alternative plot wheel this week, and it landed on pure chaos. New faces are stirring up old chemistry, a shocking mob decision came out of absolutely nowhere, and a courtroom trial had us questioning everyone's law degree, including the lawyer's. Add in a stalker plot with more suspects than a game of Clue, a record producer with questionable business casual attire, and a Quartermaine scene that reminded us why this show can still deliver a masterclass when it wants to. We're breaking it all down, rejected plots and all. Plus, we've got a classic episode dig from 1981 with a surprise royal cameo, a soap rec that'll make you nostalgic for leg warmers, and big news about our first ever live meetup in New York City this Sunday. Grab your coffee (or clean up whatever you just spilled) and settle in. Groundhog Day at General Hospital

General Hospital Snarkcast - Recorded Monday, August 3, 2026 It’s Groundhog Day in Port Charles, as everyone seems to have reset back to 2024. Mama Snark and Snark, Jr. are back for this week’s Snarkcast, and honestly, it's a lot. Mama kicks things off with a “real life” hospital visit that somehow turns into a monologue about how every floor looks the same and the doctors won't stop arguing in the hallway, which, weirdly, is also just a normal Tuesday on General Hospital. From there it's straight into the chaos: a shocking last-minute recast that lasted exactly four episodes, a mystery man named Hudson who is decidedly not a hockey player, and a physical transformation so suspicious that Mama has a full theory involving secret nighttime workouts. Then there's Nina, doing what Nina does best, which is absolutely losing her mind in the most delightful way possible, earning her a well-deserved character of the week nod. Ghost Peter is back to haunt poor Anna with all the subtlety of a Shakespearean fog machine, and Mama and Junior dig into why the hospital looks like it's been abandoned since the Reagan administration, staffed apparently by one head nurse, three orderlies, and infinite invisible doctors. They also dust off a classic 1983 episode featuring Luke in a bathtub, and a nurses strike caused by mass food poisoning. Also on deck: a heads up about Curtis's upcoming trial that you'll want to prepare for accordingly, an update on the ever chaotic Willow and Drew saga that has everyone feeling like they've been shoved into a time machine, and details on the sold out live show in New York happening in less than two weeks, complete with a possible surprise guest that even Mama doesn't know about. Grab your shot glasses, this one's a ride. SORASed, Britchy, and Stalked

General Hospital Snarkcast - Recorded Monday, July 27, 2026 This week on the General Hospital Snarkcast: Nina delivers an all-time campperformance as Willow's master plan collapses in spectacular fashion, and Drewtakes an unscheduled dip we all know won't stick thanks to spoilers. Anna's post-haircut logic has officially left the building — one breath she's blasting Chase for investigating on his own, the next she's begging him to secretly digup dirt on Britt. Speaking of Britt, the hosts make the case that she's been rewritten as a spoiled brat when what the story actually calls for is trauma; there's a difference, and GH knows it, because they nailed that exact tone withJason and Rocco. Trina's new stalker plot has the internet buzzing with Spencer retcon theories (we’re a little short on the Cassadines these days), while Scout 2.0gets SORASed straight into sassy teenager territory with zero on-screen buildup, plus an uncomfortably fast crush on her own "brother's" orbit. Stella's mysterious HR promotion, Liz getting shuffled into random plots with noexplanation, and the utterly baffling Brick/Valentine basketball detour also get torn apart. Then it's a palate-cleansing trip back to 1987 for a delightfully unhinged DVX mind-control caper starring Sean Cassidy, with Robertand Anna in full chase mode, and early Lucy Coe scheming. Also: Mean Girls, watched for the first time ever (yes, really). New York meetup tickets are almost gone — grab one before they're history. 16 Times the Snark!

General Hospital Snarkcast - Recorded Monday, July 20, 2026 This Week... 16 is the Magic Number! Mama Snark and Snark Jr. have big news: the first-ever GH Snark live gathering in New York City is officially a go, with only 30 spots up for grabs, so don't dawdle. But first, they've got a week so stuffed with milestones it needed its own numerology. Jason's back, Portia had her baby, Jack and Nina finally locked lips, and the number 16 somehow wormed its way into practically every scene tied to the show's landmark 16,000th episode. Steve Burton returns looking suitably broken, earning both an Emmy nomination and Mama Snark's full devotion, while a mysterious new WSB doctor named Tristan Roberts stirs up conspiracy theories and a meet-cute with Britt that's really more of a "meet angry." Meanwhile, Portia gives birth sitting bolt upright in what may be the least medically accurate delivery in daytime history, and somehow that's not even the most frustrating parenting decision of the week. Then there's Cody, forced to tell replacement James the truth about Cassius while poor Gary James Fuller recovers from a bicycle accident off-screen. Add in a shiny new "Soap Classic" segment digging up a 1981 Luke and Laura gem, a Peacock binge recommendation, and Trina having not one but two tiny tantrums, and Mama Snark and Snark Jr. have more than enough to snark their way through. Confessions, Truths, and Consequences

General Hospital Snarkcast - Recorded Monday, July 13, 2026 Everybody told on everybody this week — Danny ratted out Rocco to Brennan, Brooklyn caved to Chase before he even finished his sentence, and Jordan casually admitted to months of undercover work like it was no big deal. It's like Port Charles collectively decided honesty was the new currency, except nobody thought through what happens after the confession. Lulu keeps proving she's the same person as Carly, just fifteen years younger and somehow angrier about it, while Curtis rationalizes his way through a conversation with Marty that just shows how deluded he really is.On the character front: Van Hansis quietly proves Lucas finally has a pulse after years of Stoic City, Joss graduates from the Scooby gang to running with the WSB big leagues, and Valentine gets his redemption arc AND his women back in the same episode — no small feat for a guy who was in the attic as a fugitive two minutes ago. Brit discovers her terminal illness was gaslighting all along, and Jonathan Bennett's adorableness single-handedly rescued Joe Fitzpatrick from personality purgatory. And then there's the stuff nobody can quite explain: Anna's memories are back but her Jumanji wallpaper is not going anywhere, Serena Baldwin returns aged up decades with little warning, and the cold fusion machine apparently required a moving truck despite David assuming it was microchip-sized. Plus, Chase’s surprising read on Lucy Coe, a $5 bill that somehow means everything, and a soap recommendation set in 1950s Spain that has absolutely nothing to do with General Hospital. Mama and Junior Snark break it all down — grab your soap, folks, it's another biggest week ever.Soap Recommendation: Alguien Tiene que Morir (Someone Must Die), on Netflix.Snarkie Gathering in NYC on August 16. What a Week and... John Oliver!

General Hospital Snarkcast - Recorded Monday, July 6, 2026 What a Week... and John Oliver! Mama Snark and Snark Jr. need a cold cloth and a lie down, because General Hospital just delivered the greatest week since Luke and Laura’s wedding. A week so packed it broke our recap into two parts and nearly needed a third. Cassius is exposed, Colum is dead (RIP to a truly terrifying gas mask enthusiast), Sidwell’s in custody, and Joss is out here playing WSB Barbie in someone else’s warehouse empire, while Charlotte draws the world’s least useful escape map. Ava and Ethan generate enough chemistry to power the whole Cassadine compound, Lulu is driving us all to drink (and we don’t even drink on weekdays), and Cassius gets a goodbye scene with his son that actually made us cry. Wicked Stepmother also returns from her sound-off binge-watching exile with a text message that speaks for all of us. And then there’s John Oliver, who reportedly asked to guest star, and delivered a full helicopter landing, a gunshot, and zero cheese. No stunt casting jitters here; he was Z from the second he stepped off that chopper. Mama Snark and Snark Jr. break down the whole glorious mess, character of the week and all. Soap Recommendation: The Way Home on Netflix. Snarkie Gathering in NYC on August 16. More details coming.
