You’re Not Losing Your Faith, You’re Burnt Out

Have you ever reached a point where you still love God, but suddenly you don’t feel like praying? You don’t want to open your Bible. Little things are irritating you, fear feels louder than usual, you’re questioning things you normally feel secure about, and spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically… you’re just TIRED. Baby, you might be burnt out. In this episode of Salt N’ Seasons, we’re having a real conversation about burnout and what happens when we continue pouring, serving, working, parenting, ministering and showing up for everybody else while running on empty ourselves. I’m sharing some of the signs I’ve learned to recognize in my own life, including irritability, fear, spiritual dryness and the way exhaustion can completely change how we perceive what’s happening around us. We’re also talking about why burnout can leave us vulnerable spiritually and why taking care of ourselves is not selfish or separate from our walk with God. And most importantly, what do we actually DO when we realize we’re burnt out? Sometimes getting back into the presence of God doesn’t look like an hour-long prayer session. Sometimes it’s five minutes. Sometimes it’s worship. Sometimes it’s sitting before God with absolutely nothing to say and crying. Sometimes rest looks like booking the retreat, and sometimes it looks like going to the library, taking a walk, putting your phone away, or creating small rhythms that intentionally pour back into you. You do not have to wait until your tank is completely empty before you give yourself permission to refill it. Taking care of yourself mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically matters. You are God’s workmanship, His temple and His ambassador. Loving and caring for the person He created is part of stewarding what He has entrusted to you. So Salt Shaker, if you’ve been wondering why you don’t quite feel like yourself lately, this conversation may be exactly what you need. 🤎 Grab your Bible, get comfortable and let’s talk. But Who Are You Really? | Your Identity Isn't What You Do, It's Who God Says You Are

What happens when the things you’ve used to define yourself begin to change? In this episode we’re talking about identity and the importance of building our understanding of who we are on the one foundation that cannot be shaken: who God says we are. I share my own journey of realizing how much of my identity had become attached to the roles I held, the things I accomplished, and the ways I believed I was adding value. When those things shifted, I struggled to recognize who I was outside of them. Over time, God taught me that the things I do may be part of my life, but they were never meant to become the foundation of my identity. This conversation is about learning to root our identity in Christ, believe what God has already spoken concerning us, and recognize His intentionality throughout every season of our lives. Because seasons change, titles change, relationships change, and the things entrusted to our hands can change, but the Word of God remains. When we truly know who God says we are, we can navigate changing seasons without allowing them to change what we believe about ourselves. Your identity isn’t what you do. It’s who God says you are. I pray this episode encourages you to go back to what God has spoken, remember what He has already brought you through, and become firmly rooted in the truth of who He created and called you to be. 🤎  • Never miss an episode! Subscribe to Salt n’ Seasons for fresh content every other Wednesday! • Let’s connect! You'll Never Outgrow Needing Your Father | Revelation, Correction, and Holding Your Peace

I sat down to record this episode with no notes, just an instruction from God to talk about where I am right now in my walk with Him. In this season, God has been teaching me how to seek revelation when I lack peace, ask Him questions when I need clarity, and remain childlike when I make mistakes. I’m sharing what it means to “hold your peace,” how to hear God in uncertain seasons, and why His correction should bring us back into alignment rather than push us into guilt and condemnation. I also open up about one very humbling mistake and what it taught me about repentance, grace, and spiritual growth. No matter how long you’ve walked with God, you will never become too spiritually mature to need His guidance, correction, or grace. You are still His child—and you’ll never outgrow needing your Father. In this episode: ✨ How to ask God for revelation, clarity, and understanding ✨ What it means to “hold your peace” ✨ How to hear God during uncertain seasons ✨ The difference between correction and condemnation ✨ How to remain childlike in your relationship with God ✨ Finding grace and getting back up after making a mistake  • Never miss an episode! Subscribe to Salt n’ Seasons for fresh content every other Wednesday! • Let’s connect!
