Season 5, Episode 5: Tamma Carel, Imvelo Ltd. and ICOR Systems

Joining me today is Tamma Carel, founder of Imvelo Ltd and co-founder of ICOR Systems, businesses created to help organisations ensure they are compliant with legislation and become more educated in becoming more responsible. Tamma had a fascinating upbringing, which, unbeknownst to her at the time, gave the foundations of where she finds herself now in her career. I’ve wanted Tamma to guest for some time, so I was absolutely delighted when she agreed, and I know many of you will find our chat incredibly interesting. Tamma and I discuss 👥 legislation and who is truly responsible 🌿 the ethos of nurturing nature and the ‘alternative’ mermaid 🏆 sustainability basics, consequences and benefits 📚 habit stacking and net zero claims 🥼 and the next work generation in and around STEM industries. Tamma also gives us some tips and advice around frameworks and processes to help discover current levels of compliance and ‘good’ business practices that might already be captured in your organisation. Tamma also has a brilliant weekly email called '5 Favourites Friday' where she picks out 5 favourite responsibility-led posts across social media, which keeps you up to date with the news without having to search for it yourself. You can sign up to receive her email through the link to the Imvelo website. Tamma's book recommendation is Collapse by Jared Diamond . And you can find Tamma on LinkedIn or via her websites ICOR Systems and Imvelo.  #sustainability #esg #strategicmarketing #strategicmarketingconsultant #consumerdemand #responsibility #responsiblebusiness #businessresponsibility #marketingcommunications Thanks for listening! Dave and I discuss: 📋 The trials, tribulations and benefits of testing your audience, ⚖ How to balance human and AI, 👾 Is AI really eating the world, and is the bubble going to burst for AI tech, 🧑‍⚖️ And who draws the line on what’s acceptable or not. Dave also gives us some tips, advice and warnings about using AI, and feel free to check out the apps Dave has built specifically around hidden tax and Ichthyosis (if you want to know more about this condition, please visit https://www.ichthyosis.org.uk/ or https://firstskinfoundation.org/).
