    What is a Constructive Critique?

I must say, I was surprised when Andrew told me he wanted to do an episode about Constructive Critique.  This framework can be one of the hardest to master, because it often involves an uncomfortable challenge - giving a friend feedback about how their actions are negatively impacting how we feel or challenging them to keep a promise that they have made, but are not upholding. In this episode, we dive into the art of giving Constructive Critique, and trust me, it's not as intimidating as it sounds! Joined by Andrew and Ava, we explore how to offer feedback in a way that's helpful, not hurtful. From setting healthy boundaries to using emotions and promises as a framework, we break down two key "flavors" of critique. Plus, Andrew shares his thoughts on positive feedback—could we flip the script and give Constructive Praise? Tune in for some real-talk on communicating effectively, setting boundaries, and maybe even learning how to deliver a little love in the process.  Andrew - when you challenge me to think in new ways, I feel grateful to be your mom. Thank you.
