    About The Search for God I grew up as the son of a deacon in a small Missionary Baptist church. After being deeply wounded by the church, I walked away and spent years exploring other beliefs. Four years ago, I began finding my way back to God. The Search for God is about that journey — faith, doubt, the Bible, and what it means to follow God in the real world.
