Vet Talks 2026: An Event For Veterans | David Lonergan On Why Telling Your Story Matters

What happens after you tell your story?David Lonergan returns to the Homefront Harmony Podcast to talk with host Stevie Dahl about the power of veterans sharing their experiences—and why telling the story is only the beginning. At the center of their conversation is Vet Talks 2026, an event bringing together eight veteran speakers to share real stories from their lives, the challenges they've faced, what came next, and most importantly, a call to action for others who may see themselves in those experiences.David believes you never know who needs to hear your story. Someone could be sitting in the audience—or watching years later—hearing another veteran describe something they've quietly been carrying themselves.David and Stevie also dive into the connection between mental health, physical health, movement, and community.
