Welcome to Cicely Alaska: A Northern Exposure Podcast

I’m a big fan of the show and the terrific trio really do an excellent job of not only recapping the episode but also using that as a launching pad to some great conversations.

I’ve been a subscriber and casual listener since the podcast started because I love Northern Exposure! It hasn’t always been my favorite podcast, but honestly there aren’t many podcasts about the show so I take what I can get. The last straw for me was episode 52 which featured an interview with a person running for political office who had never watched the show. I don’t subscribe to either major party in the U.S. so this isn’t about me agreeing or disagreeing on issues. What I don’t appreciate is partisan politics being brought on the podcast at all. And the weakest of attempts to relate the podcast episode to the show, when the interviewee has never watched the show at all. Perhaps consider rebranding the podcast or creating another one if you want to talk about topics absolutely unrelated to the show. Until then, I’ll look for Northern Exposure content elsewhere.
