    Brett Donahue is a thoughtful, talented, and hard working actor who has navigated the industry for over two decades. A veteran of stage and screen, Brett is a true leading talent. Any time I see his work I’m struck by how grounded, present, and dropped in he is. Turns out, this is hard earned by design and dedication. Not only does he boast a prolific screen resume, but he’s also a thriving theatre talent and just an all around great guy. Connection, in-person work, and living in the moment with his scene partners has been the through line in every moment of his career, and it’s increasingly becoming his 10x goal.     #44 Erika Prevost – Acting Growth Through Personal Healing and Transformation

    Erika Prevost is one of the stars of the hit series “St. Pierre”—a unique and highly entertaining police drama where she plays the charismatic and complex Patty Montclair-Ito (among many other credits including “The Boys”, “Assassin’s Creed Shadows”, and “The Next Step” to name a few). This was one of those episodes where I was blessed to meet an actor for the first time and dive right into the deep end of their world view, values, and the journey that has gotten them where they are. Erika is somehow both extremely practical and driven, as well as spiritual and grounded in both herself and her healing and growth journey. She’s a bonkers talented actor who has put in a tremendous amount of thought and time into her growth as a person—knowing that as she grows, so does her capacity for success. I loved this episode, Erika is the real deal and I learned so much from her. This industry requires growth of self as much as ability, and I can’t think of a better conversation for you to hear to inspire you to look within and be inspired.  Find Erika:

    #42 Alexandra Beaton – Creating Character in Every Moment

    Star of the hit Netflix series “Finding Her Edge”, Alexandra Beaton is someone I’ve wanted to get on the show for ages. I’ve been a huge fan of hers since I saw her in Amazon Prime’s “Overcompensating” as the brutal and hilarious mean girl, Bridget. Alex has a laundry list of credits that clearly chart the course to her growing lead status but more importantly, I think, she has an unwavering superpower: She saturates every frame she’s in with character. Her work is incredibly clear, you know exactly who she is in every moment. She is constantly teaching you with brave choices, bold opinions, and razor sharp talent.     #41 Jake Epstein – From Degrassi Kid to Broadway Star + More

    I recently worked with Jake Epstein on Doc and was SO excited to finally meet the guy I’d been hearing so much about for years. Jake is a profoundly talented actor who began as a child star and quickly found himself as a regular on the iconic teen drama, Degrassi. Where his story becomes even more interesting is that he chose to leave that show and go to theatre school, beginning the steps of the journey that would lead him to starring on Broadway as “Spider Man” in Spider Man: Turn Off The Dark (one of the most technically ambitious Broadway shows in history). Jake is whip smart, funny, and profoundly brave in his willingness to follow the creative threads of his life. I’m a huge fan of this gent, I have a feeling you’ll love this episode, so dive on in.
