Inspiring - Must listen for military leaders
2 days ago
I haven’t been inspired by a military leadership memoir in a long, long time, but this story of true love of family and country brought tears, joy when DADT was passed, and the utmost appreciation for Randy’s leadership and Lucas’ sacrifice and commitment. Forever grateful MG & Mr Taylor chose to gift us their story.
Important story told well

I’m not a big military supporter, but I really found this story gripping. It tells to what lengths a soldier and his partner had to go to hide their relationship, including driving hundreds of miles in the Egyptian desert. Wonder if the new Administration will force military personnel back into the closet?
I had no idea…

I stumbled upon this series and decided to have a listen. It was certainly an eye opener! The lengths to which Randy and Lucas had to go to conceal their relationship are unimaginable. Great series! As a true crime fanatic, I was expecting murder and chaos..this was not what I expected at all, and I loved every episode! Wavland had become a new favorite podcast of mine.
Fit For Service

I’m a true crime fanatic and fortunately for me this show came up on my feed as a trailer so to speak. I’m so happy it did! I was hooked immediately. Listening to it made me upset, made me angry and ultimately made me joyful for General Randy Taylor and his husband Lucas Taylor. The lengths they went through and hardships they endured to stay together is awe inspiring. Some people may never understand what it is like to be gay, to have to hide one’s identity for whatever reason. I am fortunate that I never had to hide my identity for my career, unlike many before me and after me. Give this show a listen, because in the end as General Taylor states, to give love and receive love is all that matters. Thank you General Taylor and Lucas Taylor for your service and sacrifice to our country.
