    Hockey. Is. Pain.

SPORTS. IS. PAIN. Pain is all we know, pain is all we will continue to know, we deserve pain, we will know pain, we must have pain. Being a sports fan is one of the worst punishments you can put on yourself as a human being. The highs are the absolute highest and the lows can truly not be lower. Stubbed your toe? Not as painful as being a sports fan. A family member ate the last donut? Not as painful. Wife left you? Not as painful. Didn’t achieve your dreams and now live in a sewer somewhere alone and without hope? Nowhere even close to being as painful as being a sports fan. It was not a good week being a fan of the two teams this show is primarily about and unfortunately the pain just continues and we are not even talking about what happened on Sunday. Sorry for the delay this week everyone, we were too busy wallowing in self pity. But we are going to go day by day this week and cover its events as they unfolded. As much as we may not want to. Should The Avalanche Have Beat The Penguins?

Were the Colorado Avalanche good enough to beat the Dallas Stars in both games? Should the Avalanche have beaten the Penguins at all? Are the Sharks ever going to win in regulation? The Avalanche play Philadelphia next. Are they in danger of helping continue Philly’s new found winning streak, putting them right back on track? Speaking of, a quick look back on our preseason predictions and just how correct they are right now. Let's address these questions on this week's episode of the Captain Avalanche Fancast!Music: "Burn The World Waltz" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Contact Us: captainavalanchepod1@gmail.com

    Scoring Throughout The Lineup

Do you like offense? Yes? Great, we have that in historic numbers! Do you like power play offense? Yeah? Well forget you that is a non functional factor! Goaltending seems to be the question on every team's mind as history and tragedy keep occurring on a daily basis. Today we bring back the good, the bad, and the Avalanche and break down this last week's worth of games. Captain Macklin made his return but did it make a difference? You know who is making a difference, the youth (and Stanley Cup winning vet) on the Avalanche. We have a lot to yell about today so strap in for this episode of the Captain Avalanche Fancast. Superstar Trade Talks

That’s right, for the first time in NHL HISTORY the Avalanche are undefeated in the month of September, the Sharks are also 2-0-0 (after almost being the exact opposite a couple of times). The Avalanche have already scored 14 goals in their first two games. The Sharks have more than just Celebrini scoring. Mackenzie Blackwood is an excellent goaltender and I will continue to not accept any slander on his name. Yaroslav Askarov MIGHT be a good goaltender and the Sharks season could be solely riding on his success and development. Speaking of Sharks, in the Tank with Dom RETURNS TODAY! Let’s talk some real hockey today on the Captain Avalanche Fancast. Completely Correct Pre-Season Predictions

We're back for Season 3! We, once again, have preseason divisional rankings and Dom ranked Chicago how high? The Utah Mammoth are a top three team in the Central, maybe even a top three team in the West! No one will win the Atlantic Division. Are we actually even watching hockey anymore? It’s your turn to decide. We’re back with less time than ever but that isn’t going to stop us from bringing you hockey from a fan perspective. We’re here to grow the game and to grow your fandom of the Colorado Avalanche and the San Jose Sharks.
