    Welcome! In this episode of the 180 Turning Lives Around Podcast with Liz Graham: when people hear the words domestic violence they often picture the horrors of physical abuse. But, domestic violence can involve no physical abuse at all.     Celebrating a half century of 180 Turning Lives Around, featuring 180’s All That Glitters is Gold Gala

    Welcome! In this episode of the 180 Turning Lives Around Podcast with Liz Graham, this year’s annual gala celebrated the 50th anniversary of our organization. It was an unforgettable night that celebrated our past, applauded our present, and looked forward to our future. A memorable moment of the night was Liz’s survivor story. Also this month, to say our gala was packed with dear friends would just be an understatement. So many in attendance play a critical role in assuring our services are available 24-7-365 to those in need. We share some of our favorite conversations from the evening.  Plus, a big thank you to our attendees, our donors, and local partners. 180 couldn’t deliver on its lifesaving mission and life-altering programs without all of you!     Welcome! In this episode of the 180 Turning Lives Around Podcast with Liz Graham, we are lighting the show up orange as Samantha and Brooke return for our annual Teen Dating Violence Awareness episode. If we can stress one thing to young people, it’s that love shouldn’t hurt. It’s a sad fact that one in three teens in the U.S. will experience physical, sexual, or emotional abuse by someone they are in a relationship with before they become adults. Thankfully, no-one has to solve or take on this problem alone, and 180 is here to help.  Also this month, it was an unforgettable night of awareness, art, and community at 180’s Pet Bowls Project.
