    Prescription for a Lawless Heart

What do you physically do when the illusion breaks and the raw friction of conviction hits your nervous system? In this installment of The Lawless Heart mini-series, we move away from the diagnostic intervention and enter the operating room. We reframe the "Wilderness Season" not as a cosmic punishment, but as a severe mercy—the mandatory diagnostic terrain where human options run out of gas so we can finally face the unedited voice of the Almighty. In this episode, we compare biblical blueprints of how we process conviction and break down the literal, mechanical 4-step path of Teshuva (Repentance). We redefine what it actually means to circumcise the heart by allowing the sword of the Word to slice away calloused traditions, and uncover the true scriptural job description of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) in Ezekiel 36. Finally, we reclaim the somatic reality of biblical holiness (Kadosh) as a physical lifestyle of literal, set-apart separation. Your instructions are in your hands. It’s time to stop teetering on the fence, submit to the cutting of the heart, and turn your feet back to the Father's house. Scriptural References : 1 Samuel 15, Psalm 51, Jonah 2, Malachi 3:7, Zechariah 1:3, Ezekiel 36:26-27, Leviticus 11:44-45, Revelation 14:12. Keywords & Search Topics: The Mechanics of Teshuva (Regret, Cessation, Confession, Resolution),  (Missing the Mark), Heart Circumcision, Kadosh (Somatic Separation), Torah Observant

Spiritual Dissociation bka "God Knows My Heart"

If you’ve ever defended your lifestyle, your beliefs, or your behaviors by saying, “Well, God knows my heart,” this episode is your intervention. In this premier episode of Bible, Brain & Body, we launch our 3-part series, The Lawless Heart. As a retired trauma-specialized psychotherapist and academic scholar, I spent decades treating somatic dissociation—the psychological survival mechanism where a person detaches their mind from their physical body. When I turned that exact clinical lens toward modern theology, I found a terrifying parallel: a systemic spiritual dissociation. We have been deeply conditioned to chase emotional highs in our worship while remaining completely non-compliant with the Word of God. We are deprogramming the brain from hand-me-down propaganda to reclaim the true, untranslated blueprint of biblical righteousness: Tzedakah. Through a first-century Hebraic lens, righteousness is not an abstract feeling or a fluid headspace; it is concrete, physical behavior. What we break down in this episode: The Deceitful Heart: Why anchoring your faith to your emotions is a broken compass (Jeremiah 17:9).The Subjectivity Trap: Why removing the Torah reduces morality to absolute subjectivity—the exact foundation of occult lawlessness ("Do what thou wilt").The Peg & The Coat: The spiritual mechanics of Matthew 22:40 and why true love cannot exist without the Law.The Pauline Defense: Redefining the Greek word Telos in Romans 10:4 and restoring the unfiltered reality of Romans 3:31. Faith in the Messiah saves us and transforms our hearts, but the Torah is what defines how that transformed heart actually behaves in the physical world. It is time to stop practicing partial obedience. It’s time to deprogram the brain, honor the temple of the body, and align ourselves with the Bible in Spirit and in Truth. Grab your Bibles. Open your mind. Let's get this Word in to keep the world out.

The Hidden Curriculum EP01: Manipulating Minds

What if our institutions were built not just on logic—but on magic?  We like to think of data, psychology, and governance as neutral, modern, rational. But beneath the surface lies something older, stranger, and often hidden. The Hidden Curriculum is a new podcast exploring how symbolic systems—mysticism, psychoanalysis, and myth—shaped the foundations of modern institutions. From therapy to bureaucracy, from Freudian introspection to predictive policing, we ask:What unseen forces guide how we classify, diagnose, and control people today? EPISODE ONE: Manipulating Minds — Psychoanalysis in the Service of State Power In this premiere episode, I trace the evolution of psychoanalysis from its mystical roots in Jewish esoteric thought, to its absorption by Cold War intelligence agencies and modern surveillance regimes. Drawing on the work of David Bakan, we look at Freud not only as a scientist—but as a mystic secularizing old spiritual traditions into a new psychic language. That language—the unconscious, repression, transference—would soon be picked up by institutions of power, turning personal exploration into state infrastructure. From therapy couch to black site. From dream interpretation to metadata. In this episode we uncover: How Freud's theories drew from Kabbalistic and mystical thought Why psychoanalysis became a tool of government influence and propaganda How private insights became bureaucratic records The legacy of these shifts in today’s data-driven systems of control Why This Podcast? As a former psychotherapist, higher education behavioral interventionist and researcher, I’ve seen how ideas meant to liberate can become tools of categorization and coercion. And as AI, behavioral tracking, and predictive systems expand, it's more urgent than ever to ask: Where did our ways of knowing—and managing—people come from? This podcast is for anyone drawn to: The history of ideas Critical psychology Digital ethics and surveillance Political philosophy The unconscious, symbolic, or mystical Questioning systems that feel "normal" but aren’t If that’s you, you’re in the right place. Consider subscribing here for future episode breakdowns, reading recommendations, and behind-the-scenes reflections. This isn’t just a podcast. It’s an invitation to see the world’s machinery—and your own mind—differently.
