    EP 32: The mirror is what gives you freedom. It's not the absence of problems—it's the willingness to look at them.

    It's December 31st. The last three days have felt like two weeks crammed together. I've had hard conversations this week—and I'm ending 2025 lighter because of them. This isn't a polished "here's everything I learned this year" episode. It's raw. It's what actually happened when challenges came up on my team and how I handled them. I'm sharing my two non-negotiables before any hard conversation: sleep on it first, and get face-to-face (even if it's video). I'm also breaking down why I take radical ownership—even over things I probably shouldn't—because deflecting would mean I never see the gaps that better communication or better systems could fix. Here's the truth: if you're avoiding a conversation, a decision, or a discipline heading into 2026, that avoidance is costing you more than the discomfort of confronting it. I told my team this week: we have an aggressive goal for 2026. We have to be okay having hard conversations with each other. I'm not going to walk on eggshells in my own company—and neither should you. The shift: Freedom doesn't come from the absence of problems.     You've probably heard "what gets measured gets managed." But here's what nobody tells you: the data doesn't create the discipline. The discipline creates the data. That one shift changed everything for me—and it's the difference between business owners who scale with freedom and those who stay stuck guessing.     EP 30: It's not a time problem; it's a visability problem.

    What if the only thing standing between you and running your business from anywhere in the world is a question you haven't learned to ask yet? I just handed my team 12 workflows to build for Q1—without a single meeting about how to build them. Because I've learned that my job isn't to create the systems. My job is to define the result, identify the data I need to see, and let my team lead the build. In this episode, I'm breaking down how we identified our Big Domino for 2026 (positioning), why processes became our second constraint to eliminate, and the two systems I'm obsessing over right now: client ticketing and onboarding. Not because they're sexy—but because they're the infrastructure that lets me step away without everything falling apart.     EP 29: The biggest mistake I ever made and will make in my business

    Christmas Eve. Date night with my husband. Planning for 2026. And somewhere in that conversation, I finally said out loud the biggest mistake I've ever made in my business—one I'm still working through to this day. I didn't believe in myself. For years, I hid behind my CPA license. I let the credential do the talking because I didn't trust that my story, my perspective, my way of helping people was enough. And I watched people build movements around the exact same work I was doing—because they believed it mattered and I was still waiting for permission.     Warren Buffett said it best: "Diversification is the protection against ignorance. It makes little sense if you know what you're doing." We've been sold on the idea that more goals mean more ambition. But here's the truth: multiple goals create multiple conflicting priorities—and conflict kills momentum. In this episode, I'm breaking down why we set just ONE North Star for the year, and how making mine bigger actually made everything simpler. When I increased our target, suddenly delegation became obvious. What wasn't worth my time became crystal clear. And I stopped asking my team to follow my lead—I started asking them to take ownership. Your North Star should have three components: a revenue target, a profit ratio (not a dollar amount—here's why that matters), and a people-focused metric that ties back to your vision. Because businesses aren't built on profitability. They're built on relationships. The profit just measures how effectively you're serving them. If you're hedging with multiple goals, it's not strategy. It's fear dressed up as ambition. Set the one thing. Make it big enough that it scares you a little.
