This was a special appearance for the band during a break from Sanguisuggabogg's busy touring schedule. Cody shares with us how he got into music and how he thinks about approaching hardcore and death metal. What a fascinating and inspiring musician in the hardcore/metal scene.     At Gidmas 2025 I was able to get an interview with Officer Down, a relatively new HEAVY and SCARY Nashville hardcore band. The band has been crushing it this past year, playing some highly attended and packed out local hardcore shows. Earlier in 2025 Officer Down toured with Chamber and Mugshot, spreading their unique sound all the way up to the Buffalo New York and the east coast. The future is looking bright for this band, they have chemistry, a powerful message advocating for the marginalized, and they got the riffs, style and recordings to prove it.
