Each interview, we will walk a different diagnosis through the perspective of the mom. We will discuss their child's story and child’s diagnosis and get into the details of their journey through the diagnosis, advice they would give to other moms, resources they have/know of for other moms to use, information on pages to follow, or if there is research that is coming out soon. I pray through this journey we can connect moms who are navigating their child's diagnosis, a mom who needs their story to be told, a mom looking for advocacy, connection, and community. This is why I created Medical Mom Talk, a place where moms can come and share their experiences and journey through their child's diagnosis. Where real, raw, beautiful stories are told and where true advice, connection, and community is born. My name is Kersey Henderson, and when my son was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, I felt it all. That is why I created Medical Mom Talk, because I don't want mom's to do this alone. I want to build a community that mom's can come to and share their experiences of being a medical mom.
