Ep 55: Karl Zemlin Changes the Photography Industry w/Problem-Solving Hoods & Caps

    | Wildlife Conversations with Karl Zemlin of Zemlin Photo, Episode 55 | I'm honored to host photographer and craftsman Karl Zemlin for Episode 55. Karl is the owner of Indiana-based Zemlin Photo. To solve his own problem, Karl designed a hood for his prime lens in his garage and ended up creating a product used by wildlife and sports photographers around the world.  In this episode, we talk about his start in photography, his work in motorsports and nature, and his travels to Kenya and Iceland.  Karl also spoke to us from his new facility (he's no longer in his garage!) and shared his journey to Zemlin Photo and all his products.  It's a fascinating discussion and an honor to host a fellow Indiana photographer.  __________ WHERE TO FIND KARL Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/zemlinphoto/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@kzemlin Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/karl.zemlin/    https://www.facebook.com/zemlinphoto/ Website: https://www.zemlinphoto.com/ __________ WHERE TO FIND JEN Website: https://jenlritchie.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jenlritchie/ and  https://www.instagram.com/wildlifeconversationspodcast/ Support the podcast: https://jenlritchie.com/support/ Grab my free guide and join the email list for upcoming podcasts: https://jenlritchie.com/freeguide/ See what's in my camera bag here: https://jenlritchie.com/photographer/ __________ WHERE TO FIND ROBERTS CAMERA & USEDPHOTOPRO Websites: https://robertscamera.com/ https://usedphotopro.com/ Online Coupon Code: Use JRVIP2026 to receive . . . - 10% off all used camera equipment on usedphotopro.com - 10% off select NEW accessories (bags, straps, tripods/monopods and filters) at robertscamera.com Contact Phil Gibson to answer questions about your gear and set you up for your vision.  - Valid through 12/31/2026 __________ GURA GEAR Receive 10% off using my affiliate link here: https://guragear.com/?ref=JENRITCHIE or coupon code JENRITCHIE ___________ Wildlife Conversations Podcast exists to share more voices in the genre and to build community outside of social media.
