    Rethinking Creativity - Danny Cook | #2

Why is creativity not just about creating? In today’s episode, we dive deep into how creativity can be developed and trained, the environments that foster it, and the types of people who tend to be the most creative. Tune in for a lighthearted perspective on unlocking creativity in your everyday life from the eyes of a football scout and coach. Danny is a current grassroots football scout for Championship club Norwich City. He has also been coaching the beautiful game for a whopping 15 years since the age of 13 years old. I was lucky to meet Danny around seven years ago, and he went on to be my football coach for 4 years. During our seasons, Dan always managed to be innovative both on and off the pitch. For instance, during our international tournament, he surprised the team with messages from each other. He also then created an incredibly elaborate spreadsheet to track our performance. Danny’s always had a knack for being creative, and I thought why not dedicate an episode to explore this trait.
