    Am I Handling Scripture Accurately? | 2 Timothy 2:15

What does it really mean to “rightly handle the word of truth”? On this episode of the Kingdom Kickback Podcast, Anthony sits down again with the mighty man of God, Albert, to slow down and work through 2 Timothy 2:15. We’re not trying to rush through the text. We’re slowing down, looking at the context, the main action, the surrounding verses, and asking a simple question: What was Paul actually telling Timothy and how do we faithfully apply that truth to our lives today? From being a faithful workman, to enduring hardship, avoiding foolish arguments, correcting others with gentleness, and pursuing righteousness, we walk through 2 Timothy 2 and look at what it means to handle Scripture carefully rather than cutting corners. Scripture references throughout the conversation include: 📖 2 Timothy 2:1–26  📖 2 Timothy 3:16–17  📖 2 Timothy 4:6–8  📖 Romans 12:2  📖 James 1:22–25  📖 Hebrews 4:12  📖 John 8:31–32 Special thanks to Albert for sitting down with me and helping work through the Word, and a special thank you to Kingdom Coffee for giving us a place to record and fellowship. ☕ Kingdom Coffee 📍 4517 Oakdale Rd, Modesto, CA 95357 Kingdom Coffee is volunteer-run, and the proceeds help support efforts fighting sex trafficking in Nepal. When Passion Needs Wisdom | 1 Thessalonians 5:14 | Kingdom Kickback S5E1

When your passion for Jesus is real, but your approach is wrong—what happens? In Season 5, Episode 1 of the Kingdom Kickback Podcast, Anthony sits down with Brother Albert Dominguez to unpack 1 Thessalonians 5:14 and what it means to warn, encourage, support, and be patient with people. Anthony shares a personal testimony about his mother and how his passion to help her spiritually became overwhelming. It taught him an important lesson: Passion needs wisdom. Good intentions still need the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We talk about:  📖 1 Thessalonians 5:14 — Warn, comfort, support, and be patient 📖 Matthew 18:15–17 — Correcting someone biblically 📖 Galatians 6:1–2 — Restore and carry one another’s burdens 📖 James 1:5–8 — Ask God for wisdom 📖 Proverbs 27:17 — Iron sharpens iron 📖 Ephesians 4:1–3, 15–16 — Walk in love, unity, and maturity 📖 Acts 2:1–4, 41 — The power of believers united in one accord Not everyone needs correction. Not everyone needs a sermon. Sometimes someone needs encouragement. Sometimes they need help. And sometimes they simply need patience. 🙏 Thank you, Brother Albert Dominguez, for joining the Kingdom Kickback and sharing your heart for Jesus, ministry, fellowship, and reaching people with the Gospel. 🔥 MEN’S BREAKFAST — SEPTEMBER 12 | 9:00 AM 📍 House of Worship — 6000 Terminal Ave, Riverbank, CA Come fellowship, eat, hear the Word of God, and build one another up. When My Strength Runs Out, Christ Remains | His Grace Is Sufficient

Maybe you’ve prayed about it. Tried fixing it. Worked through it. But eventually, your strength runs out. In this Season 4 finale of Kingdom Kickback, we close out the series “Who’s Strengthening My Hand in God?” by going straight to 2 Corinthians 12:7–10, where Paul shows us something the world often gets backwards: weakness isn’t necessarily the place where God has abandoned us—it can be the very place where Christ’s power is revealed. Paul pleaded with God three times to remove his thorn, but God’s answer was: “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV We’ll look at Paul’s thorn, his humility concerning the revelations he received, and why he could actually boast in his weaknesses—not because weakness is good in itself, but because Christ’s power rests upon him. We’ll also connect this to Proverbs 24:16, the righteousness that comes through Christ in 2 Corinthians 5:21, and Jesus’ words in John 15:5: apart from Him, we can do nothing. This has become personal for me as I’ve watched my mother face dementia. There are moments when I feel helpless—moments when I simply cannot fix what’s happening. But God has been teaching me that I don’t have to manufacture strength I don’t have. God’s grace is sufficient. His Word strengthens us. His people strengthen us. And ultimately, Christ is our strength. So as we close this series, I want to leave you with one question: Whose hand are you strengthening—and who is strengthening your hand in God? Not in FPM.  Not in Anthony.  Not in ourselves. In Christ. Christ alone. Because when our strength runs out, His never does. 📖 2 Corinthians 12:7–10 | Proverbs 24:16 | 2 Corinthians 5:21 | John 15:5
