Dean's Killer Joke

Loved that twist!

I listened on a recommendation from a friend. Very well done had me guessing till the end!!

This well-designed show hits all the right marks—and I'm not really a "mystery" kinda guy! Excellent writing, the acting is great—I'm a fan!

First a popular comedian, then a canceled comedian, then a dead comedian. Dean and the joke that killed him is at the center of this dramedy, cozy murder mystery. And who better to solve the mystery than the one originally responsible for the joke? Dean’s Killer Joke is two parts comedy to one part reflection on duty of care—of self for one’s friends, and of comedians for the public—and vice versa. How far should the consequences of one joke extend? I enjoy the more serious musings, as well as the obvious high production quality which transitions seamlessly between past and present for a clear, cohesive narrative. I can wish for a little less jokes sometimes. But overall, this is a good ride of a well thought out cast of characters.
