Tell His Story

Shea McWhorter

Welcome to “Tell His Story” podcast. Each week, a new guest will share their story, and most importantly, share how God revealed himself and his character in their story. With humor and transparency, you’ll hear real stories of hurt, loss, success & celebration. You’ll hear how God used these life experiences to refine and grow the storyteller. My hope is for people to become equipped and inspired to share their own story, what they believe and the God they follow. The purpose of sharing is for God to be known and glorified. I’m so glad you landed here! @tell.his.story.podcast

    34: Dominique Infante | even if I can’t see it, he’s working

What do you do when life doesn’t go according to plan? For Dominique Infante, the answer has been to keep searching for God—even in the hardest places. Dominique has a heart to serve, but her journey has taken her through some incredibly difficult seasons: the challenges of ministry, cancer and kidney disease, job displacement, and divorce. Through every unexpected turn, she has witnessed the compassion, faithfulness, and intentionality of God. After receiving a diagnosis and being told she had only six months to live, Dominique’s perspective on everyday life changed. What could have been filled with fear has instead become a deep gratitude for each day she is given. We talk about what it means to trust God when you don’t understand what He is doing, and how feelings can mislead us—but faith is a choice. You may not feel courageous, but you can still choose courage. You may not be able to see what God is doing, but that doesn’t mean He isn’t working. Dominique shares how God has sustained her in her weakness and reminds us that His strength is made perfect when ours runs out. “When you search for God, you will find Him.” If you’re walking through a season of uncertainty, disappointment, illness, loss, or simply wondering where God is in the middle of your circumstances, this conversation is a beautiful reminder that God is present, He is working, and He is sustaining you—even when you can’t see it. Psalm 20:6
“Now this I know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed.” Acts 17:28
“For in him we live and move and have our being.” Connect & Listen If this episode encouraged you, share it with someone who may need the reminder that God is still working in their life. Subscribe to the podcast, leave a review, and share this episode with a friend!

    29. Thomas Miller | wretch like me

Thomas Miller – From Drug Dealing to Pastor & Hospice Chaplain In this powerful episode, I sit down with Thomas Miller — a proud husband and father of three — whose story is a testimony of radical transformation and the relentless love of God. Thomas shares his journey from drug dealing, to brick laying, to becoming a pastor and hospice chaplain. His life is living proof that no one is too far gone for redemption. What began in brokenness became a calling rooted in sonship and surrender. He is the founder of “On The Mission Podcast” and leads “Mission Music”, ministries devoted to spreading the Gospel and helping others discover their identity in Christ. In This Episode, We Talk About: The misconception that we have to “clean ourselves up” before coming to Christ How to talk to your kids about sin with truth and grace Why intimacy with the Father must come before serving His people Learning the heart of the Master before stepping into ministry The shift from shame-based identity to sonship Thomas reminds us that God doesn’t call us wretches — He calls us sons and daughters. Before you serve God’s people, you must first know the Father’s heart for you. One of the most powerful takeaways from this conversation: Joy is J.O.Y. — Jesus Over You. True joy comes from being secure in God’s beautiful love for you. This episode will challenge you to let go of performance, embrace identity, and rest in the confidence of being fully loved by the Father. 🎧 Tune in and be reminded: You don’t clean up to come to God — you come to God and He does the cleaning.
