    Old Friends, New Faith

In this episode, we’re diving deep into the challenges of letting go—whether it’s past influences, unhealthy habits, or relationships that no longer align with where God is leading you. Growth often comes with discomfort, but it also builds the discipline needed to walk in obedience. We’ll talk about the conviction of the Holy Spirit and what it means when God is calling you to change. Conviction isn’t just a feeling—it’s a call to action, and how we respond matters. Sometimes, that response means setting boundaries, stepping away from toxic relationships, and trusting God with the unknown. But even as we set boundaries and walk in obedience, we must also extend grace. Everyone is on their own journey, and our role is to love God and love people while staying faithful to what He’s calling us to do. Friction of the Flesh

Sin isn’t always as obvious as we might think. The subtleties of certain sins can make you feel like they’re not sins at all or even like your level of sin is not as bad as someone else’s. Sure, murder and theft grab attention, but what about the quieter ones? Gossip and pride sneak up on us, disguised as “harmless” habits. The truth is, even the “simplest sins” are still sin. Gossip, often times can feel like harmless chatter but we have to be honest, it’s not acceptable. Even the church is flooded with gossip and that may be the very reason why. Pride and arrogance is yet another sin that can be justified but is still very much sin. After all, sin promises freedom but always leads to chains, it looks enticing until it costs you your peace, grace is the only thing that sets you free. Coming to Christ means confronting the comfort of sin and realizing that sometimes the quietest sins do the most damage. If you’ve found yourself tangled in the webs of subtle sin-filled lies, self-deception and justification then this conversation is for you ! Let’s get into it!
