Every night my son asks me to tell him a story. Usually with a monster (krakens are a particular favorite) and always featuring 6-year-old Seis and his 3-year-old sister Noodles (she really likes noodles). These stories are fun, not too scary, and full of twists and turns based on real-time input from my son Elias. "This story needs to be about a magic dragonfly named Dragey, who can turn himself huge, and lives on an island full of talking moles!" proclaims Elias. You got it kid! "And there is a really friendly bumblebee." Sure, no problem. Best for kids ages 3-8.

    Seis and Noodles go camping in some sand dunes near a lake. They are having a blast, but eventually need to use the toilet. Unfortunately, someone stole it. As the thief makes a run for it, toilet in hand, Seis and Noodles get help from a friendly sea monster. Told to Elias at age 6.
