PureJoules

Julie Minds

PureJoules is a podcast about seeing what’s actually happening beneath the surface—in ourselves, our relationships, our communities, and the systems that shape our lives. We explore the patterns we inherit, the roles we unconsciously play, the stories we accept, and the costs we keep paying simply because we haven’t stopped to question them. Some episodes turn inward: emotional debt, identity, relationships, self-trust, avoidance, fear, family roles, and the ways our bodies and behaviors can reveal what our words cannot. Others zoom out: money, homeownership, leadership, local government, public records, community decision-making, incentives, accountability, and the systems that quietly influence everyday life. The subjects may change, but the practice is the same:  - Listen to yourself. - Listen to the data. - Question the story. - Understand the system. - Then decide what you’re willing to keep paying for. PureJoules isn’t about telling you what to think. It’s about getting enough distance from the story to see it—and giving yourself permission to ask better questions for different experiences.
