The Redeemed and Rooted Podcast isn't just a podcast. But a community surrounded by God where we navigate our lives through christ, and with christ. Being broken down by the enemy and by trials yet rebuilt by God's grace and mercy. This project was given to me by God back in the year of 2022, and I finally decided to bring His plan for me into fruition after years of procrastination and excuses as to why it couldn’t be done. Join me on a journey of healing, love, laughter and life with Jesus after heartbreak, divorce, betrayal, motherhood, finding my identity as a woman of God and full surrenderance to Jesus Christ. This is a safe space that will be raw and vulnerable, filled with testimonies and lessons of life with Him,in hopes to win souls for the Kingdom.     Grieving in Faith

    Send us Fan Mail This was going to be an episode that stayed in drafts. I didn't have any intentions on posting it. But the Lord had other plans after a spiritual attack took place after recording. Full story on the Redeemed and Rooted Instagram page.  It is normal to grieve the life you thought you would have. It is normal to express those thoughts and feelings to the Father. But once you have grieved and put those thoughts to rest, you look ahead. You believe the Father for everything He has for YOU. Even when you can not see Him, Jesus said "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed" It is easy to believe things for what it is when you see it in the natural. But when you believe for the things you have not seen yet, requires a different kind of Faith. What are you grieving? Sit in it, talk to the Father about it and then lay it to rest.     The Faithful Father

Today is one of those impromptu episodes, I had something on my heart and wanted to share. I wanted to share where I have been and how faithful the Father truly has been to me in this season. I want this episode to work as a staple to renew your faith in any situation you are in. Nothing is ever easy, if it was everyone would be doing it. But following Christ has been my greatest decision, even when I backslide. Let this episode encourage you to keep a track record with God, hold yourself to His Word.     The Comparison Crutch

It has been a year and some change since the birth of The Redeemed and Rooted Podcast, I did not intend to be away this long but I am most grateful to be back, all in the Lord's timing.  I pray that you enjoy this episode and continue to tune in. My prayer for you is that you meditate on the scriptures provided, consult with the Lord about areas in your life you don't need to compare yourself to anymore and accept that where He has you is where you are meant to be.     The "Good" Wife- Season Finale 💙

    Intimacy without Intimacy

    Send us Fan Mail **Explicit Content is Discussed**    Happy Faith-Full Friday! We are bacccck! and we are on EPISODE 10!!⭐️    We are celebrating one year of abstinence, one year of no fornication, one year of waiting til marriage and still counting!    I am so happy to be recording again for you all, I decided to record and share with you all about my journey of abstinence, but also share the challenges faced when turning down my flesh, spiritual attacks, demons etc etc. I mentioned in this episode I am not here to manipulate you or even convince you but the spirit realm is very real, the attacks are very real. But when you draw near to Jesus and understand your authority in Christ they will flee. Jesus tells us in Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” You have the authority to fight back and that includes fighting your flesh.   I decided to share this because I know a lot people who are reaching this milestone of abstaining from sex and I am so proud of you all, KEEP GOING!  Re-waiting until marriage is NOT BAD, do not let the world tell you different!     Scripture Read: 1 Thessalonians 4:2-8 A Plea for Purity🤍 Additional Scriptures:   Galatians 5:19-21 ✨“Now the Works of the flesh are evident, which are; adultery, fortification, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambition, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God”    1 Corinthians 6:18✨ “Flee Sexual Immorality.     The Backslide Battle

    Send us Fan Mail I know, it can be rough. One minute we are on fire for the Lord and then next we hit a dud. We no longer want to read His word, we doom scroll on social media and see those in the world getting the things we are fervently praying for but they get it so easily while we are waiting on the Lord.  One minute we have a solid routine of waking up and spending time with Him, reading scripture, applying it to ourselves and speaking to Him through out the day. And then the next minute, picking up the Bible feels like the hardest task we could ever do that day. It is normal, which is why scripture says to put on the armor of God. Pick up that cross, die to the flesh. Yes it is easier said than done but  it is all true. My absence in recording as stemmed from laziness and backsliding into just laying in bed, watching tv more than normal, scrolling on social media and avoiding my assignment and avoiding spending time with the Lord. But it isn't about me anymore, the prize is Jesus and I am responsible for souls to make it to the Kingdom of Heaven.  So, step out of the norm, spend time with Jesus today. Let today be a FAITH-FULL Friday. A Friday full of Faith, listen for the Lord in the wind, look at all He has created and be grateful for the King we serve.     The Wrestling Match with Forgiveness

    Send us Fan Mail HAPPY FAITH-FULL FRIDAY! A Friday FULL OF FAITH! 🩵 We have made it to Episode 7 and still going!  I get it, they hurt you. They hurt me too. But it's what we do with the hurt. Forgiveness is an uphill battle, a journey we take everyday. A feeling we must surrender to Christ every day when we feel the urge to be angry at the past, the present, and the person. I know what it is like to not want to forgive them, because it's easier to be angry and remind them of the pain they caused. But what if the forgiveness is hindering you? and them? What if unforgiving is the one thing preventing you from excelling with Jesus? What if unforgiving is the one thing that sends you to hell and you did everything else right? On this episode , we are going to talk about the Wrestling Match with Forgiveness, myself and forgiving those who hurt me who were supposed to love me instead. But also the directive that God gives us in scripture about forgiveness.
